Everything I've had lately has been great. The mouthfeel on that gose was excellent.

Hi guys, sorry for the radio silence! We took the entire production team to Yakima, WA last week for hop selection, which meant we shut down the brewery for a week (hence no new releases last week) -- but that means we have 3 cans coming out on Saturday, including an absolutely stunning pilsner! announcements forthcoming on instagram. -Joe

Very excited! Is Vis-a-Vis the only other Pilsner (or Lager for that matter) you've released previously?

Would love to see some Suarezy beers added to your line up.

yes, Vis-a-Vis was the only one we've released! we couldn't make it work during our gypsy brewing days due to the lagering time (and we didn't want to do an "accelerated fermentation schedule" like so many people use these days).

We have another lager in the works as well, which will be a dry-hopped one.

Interested to see this babka stout that was posted earlier, but the George Costanza in me needs to quibble that the Seinfeld quote actually refers to cinnamon babka as the superior babka, not chocolate :stuck_out_tongue:

Gotta say - pretty excited to try the new Galaxy DIPA and Pils!

Definitely chocolate, they end up with cinnamon after finding a hair on the last chocolate babka.

Yes, they initially get the chocolate on Elaine's behest, but after finding a hair in it, they learn that the bakery sells cinnamon too, which Seinfield then describes as the superior babka, which "takes a backseat to no other babka".

That was just Jerry trying to make the most out of a bad situation. Remember he had just broken his long streak of not throwing up, and they had been delayed after not grabbing a number at the bakery.

Can anyone speak as to what Saturday at opening is like? Just trying to get an idea. I have a wedding on Staten Island (bulls head) and have about 3 hours to kill between wedding and reception and would love to pick up a few four packs. Any advice is helpful thanks in advance for any response. Cheers.

I've been there once when they were opening at 10 and twice when they changed the opening to noon. Very chill, nothing remotely resembling #linelife. You could def do that run in 3 hours barring any major traffic jams.

BTW I just checked their insta....looks like 3 really awesome beers.

Thanks. I know it might be close so I’ll have to keep an eye on traffic. I think OH is closer and more doable but I’d rather hit Grimm. SSorry for not asking last time but any parking advice?

Almost always parking on Metropolitan near the brewery. Street parking, no meters.

I drove once, parked right in front, not sure if that was a fluke. Seemed to be parking around.

Took PT the other two times...I'm sure someone could better answer than me.

You can probably hit em both. Especially if you have someone to mind the car while you run in.

Happy to help. FYI- Interboro is right around the corner from Grimm as is Beer Street, where you can get growlers and cans of good stuff to-go (pricey though!).

Would love to know how the pilsner is. NYC needs a good local pilsner. Particularly one that can be found at all times.

Drinking a Grimm Telos side by side with an Alewife Thousand Stars. Both taste great, the Telos has more of a Grimm mineralization flavor profile, which I personally prefer, and the Thousand Stars is more true to the bohemian pilsner style. Both great beers.

Finback Telephone Lines is probably the best dry hopped pils I've ever had. Vonn Trapp Bohemian Pilsner is the best shelfies we have in NY (and in NJ, PA).

I really need to try some Interboro Bushburg Pils soon. Have yet to try it, but now that it's canned, maybe I'll run into it in local distribution.

If you are a pilsner fan, Grimm Telos definetely delivers.
