Mets - Marlins for David Wright’s final game. Just kidding. I have the Basil Hayden’s ready just in case PSU shits the bed.

Delicious sour brown. Nice head retention/lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of tart/sour red/black cherries, fruit skin/pits, ginger, lemon, lime, orange, peach, plum, cranberry, currant, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, and oak; with moderate caramel, brown sugar, and toasted bread malts; light notes of oaken vanilla, peppercorn, leathery/musty funk, red wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Pretty muted aromas. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/grainy malts; some lactic acid, fruit tang, and light oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness, zero pucker. Very smooth, mildly lactic, 5%. Pretty damn impressive; felt a touch too vinegary at first, but opened up as it warmed. Great balance of jammy cherries, Brett/Lacto complexity, spices, dark/bready malts, and oak presence. Not overwhelming on any aspect. 3.88

Excellent NEDIPA. Great fluffy head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very smooth, not too aggressive, minimal warming 8.7%. Not as soft as I was hoping, vs their others. Great balance of juicy, dank, and earthy Citra hops; nice wheat/oat/malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. Will be sticking with the creamsicles. 4

Stopped at a new local(ish) brewery to try it out. them having a California Common on tap peaked my interest. Some pretty solid stuff a great California common and an amazing Honey Saison. Dungeon Hollow Brewing, this is there California Common Full Steam Ahead in their growler because I didn’t have one on me.

I generally set an alarm every day of the week, but for tomorrow AM? I'll wake up whenever my body decides. I'll keep the light blocking curtains drawn tight so I don't get interrupted.

As much as @Danmullens1 and @WesMantooth tried finishing me off for the day, I shall perservere. I suppose @beermanben has probably had this, but he probably would have only posted it to Untappd, if he did. This is triple dry-hopped, which makes it as delicious as a National League pitcher, pitching to Christian Yelich.
