While we're asking (apparently successfully) anyone going down from Seattle willing to bring some CAFTW back my way? Flexible on amount - sixer, 10, 12, whatever.

I have a magnum of 10 year old golden rose, the batch number is in the 30's so I think it was brewed around 2002. If there is no tasting friday night I will have it under my jacket in the line saturday morning, so bring a glass for some liquid breakfast (if there is no tasting friday night).

Anyone want to split a split case of CAftW and Michael... with a Texan?! Seriously though, let me know and maybe we can work something out.

    I'm imagining down-filled smoking jackets.

Is drinking in line frowned upon? Can we get kicked out of line or in trouble? Any feedback will be appreciated. I'm coming up from Cali but don't get in until midnight so I won't be able to make any bottle shares. But I would love to bring some high abv bottles to keep us warm in line.

How about leaving that bottle at home, or in your car. Alan doesn't have the rights to have people drinking on public sidewalks. He has mentioned in the past that drinking in the line is not allowed. If people start drinking in line and get caught, Alan could get in trouble as well. Lets respect the brewer on this one.

As in most places, public drinking is not permitted.

I think it was worth asking. There are bottle releases where people are allowed to drink in line. Not everyone knows whether it is permitted or not or if things have changed. I had assumed it was probably not allowed but things and times do change.

Cheers and see you all at the break of dawn.

Damn, so my CamelBak with Black Tuesday will have to stay in the hotel room.

I take it there isn't a corkage-free hang out in Portland that could accommodate a number of people for sharing? It seems a lot of people are ready to share stuff.
