I had to step away from Oktoberfests for the time being. @PatrickCT didn't send me this one.

    Maybe I'll send him one.

    Probably not though.

We will be complaining about the same arguments until the end of time, but until the BBWAA restricts pitchers from MVP votes they are eligible. They love this shit. It has to be a position player, has to come from a winning team....blah, blah..blah. It’s all good in their eyes. I was on board for Yelich over Baez just because Baez’s OBP and AVG are pretty weak given MVP standards. I think deGrom was better than both this year.

@SWChi and @mschrei, when you met up for a beer today, was your Chicago Cubs panic level at Chicago Bears versus Aaron Rodgers level, or Chicago Bears versus Brett Favre level?

Spatan Oktoberfest. Panic level. The blood pressure of OSU and PSU fans should be raised at the minute. Cheers!

Halloween effects in effect, checking out French Toast from Decadent...

    Just finished watching Get Out...

Is racial horror comedy a new genre? 'Cuz this was that and it was great!

But now here is a shout out to @GreenBayBA, and all Canadians, since you all love everything by this band...

    Cheers...

My confidence certainly increases as the hours and ABV pile up.

Amazing Oktoberfest as always. Rich flavors of cracker, bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery noble hops. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied bready/grainy creaminess, and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness. Fairly crisp and very refreshing. Perfectly clean lagering, never yeasty. This is the best I've ever had in marzen style, with Great Lakes being a close 2nd. Glad they date the bottles now, and do 4 packs since last year. Will need to get another pack soon.

Awesome Milkshake NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big juicy mango, melon, pineapple, tangerine, fruit skin, citrus peel/rind, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, guava, gooseberry, blueberry, raspberry, peppercorn, and pine hops/fruit; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel; some resins/rinds, and light fruit tang/acidity after the finish. Light-moderate increasing bitter/tangy fruit dryness, minimal hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 5.6%. Great hop profile as expected, complements the fruit perfectly. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop/fruit complexity; with a great wheat/oat/malt and lactose backbone. Minimal residual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. Spot on stuff.

I bet they wish it was 29-21 now. Just put points on the board. It's as dumb as going for two when you're not in the last two minutes...

Founders Better Half. Bought a 4pack today, no sipping from a snifter

Definitely liking this one. My first maple bourbon beer, so unsure what to compare to. I wish they would just bring FIS back, but might have think about more of these. Wondering how they will age.

As I understand, that's how it's supposed to work. Especially if you add an ire against a BS PI call (even if the QB was obviously over the line). Ok - there's apparently a lot more nuance here. I can't keep up. The increases in hours and ABV seem to be catching up.

Here's what you need to know: . It would be 30-28 right now if PSU had just kicked a field goal instead of going for it on 4th. Stupid
