"Confirmed fire. Was expecting more tart from the blueberries, but this was spot on. Very well done"

    "Blueberries!"

    "6.5% GOOD"

"A blueberry muffin is the best description."

"This is well balanced. Slight tartness from the blueberry. Creamy. Visually stunning."

I got to More a couple of minutes before they opened. The line was around the corner but it was nothing excessive. I've been to far, far worse. I got through in thirty minutes. It sold out in an hour and a half. Well executed release. They had three guys moving things along as swiftly as possible.

It's a beautiful pour. Gorgeous in color. It's not sweet. The flavors are well balanced. You get equal amounts of blueberry and vanilla. Tart is there but not overwhelming. The lactose does give the creamy effect of the style. This is thumbs up for me. Get it on tap if you are near the area.

I saw someone posted a picture of a pour on social media. I was convinced it was another frooted release that made its way into the wrong can.

I've seen similar thoughts posted. I have not had any of the frooted beers. To me, the blueberry is just a well executed version of the milkshake style.

I managed to pry a can from my buddy (wasn't easy), and I must say that More is, to my taste, making the best fruited milkshake IPA's in Chicago by a wide margin.

This one has mildly tart blueberry, smooth vanilla & some nice orange citrus flvaors -- plus a creamy mouthfeel that's neither to thick or thin.

I'll probably never score a 4 pack due to work hours/location, but I get why folks are crazy for this stuff.

Having Strawberry Marbles now (thanks @eppie82), and it’s tasty. I’m not huge into milkshake styles, but this is really nice combo of strawberry and lactose.

Henna release soon? Thoughts? As we get into October I would have to think we’re getting close.

I’m wearing my tin foil hat and over-reading into IG comments to where I’m predicting releases for next weekend

I went there yesterday for lunch and that's what I thought. Overall, I definitely liked it, but I liked Strawberry Marbles much better, and if we're comparing blueberry IPAs - I liked PW Blueberry Cichild better as well. The kind of beer I'm glad I had a 10 oz pour of, but don't need to try again. It has a really interesting color, and it does have a tad bit of blueberry tartness backed by some vanilla. I think there's two reasons it comes in as a good beer but not as good as the aforementioned 2 -

    1) I really got no hops whatsoever. With PW BC - I did, it was almost like a precursor to those tart IPAs Hudson Valley has made popular.
    2) Blueberry milkshakes < Strawberry milkshakes. I don't think there was much hops detected in Strawberry Marbles - though I think I did get some small amount because the strawberries aren't as tart.

If they make the strawberry marbles again, yeh, I'd go back for MoRE.

I found the cans of BM were better than draft. The draft tasted more Frooted. Cans tasted more true to the style.

I will say that I am not a huge fan of the milkshake style IPAs. That may be the reason that I enjoyed Blueberry Marbles on tap. The lactose wasn't as pronounced as it has been in other milkshake style beers I have tried before. So, for those who find the overly sweet milkshake too much, BM might be worth a try.

It was almost like a less viscous frooted.

How the hell did that happen? It's been around for over 15 years...did the rise of the local brewery kill this place off (Mikerphone) or did all the customers follow Sean when he left? Maybe More should open a second location in the former RAM spot....

it cant be solely related to shaun/justin's departure, things were probably going downhill for a while.

They did nothing interesting except when Shaun was there. They succeeded in the past because there was no competition.

It was a nice space, but yeah the food was uninspiring and the beer average at best minus Shaun and Justin's offerings....
