Love Breakfast Stout. Probably my favorite beer, all things considered. Expedition is also great. Haven't had the Java Stout bottled, but it was delicious on tap in Kalamazoo. Also recently had Backwoods Bastard for the first time (2010 and 2011 bottles) - very tasty. This is an orgasmic haul, for me at least.

Some beers for the colder months

 

I've got a few of these headed my way right now... Can't wait for that box to get here, as it has a few other rarities in tow.

I know it's nothing special compared to a lot of the other hauls here, but it's pretty orgasmic for me too, LOL. Funny enough, I went to the store with the sole intent of getting that case of Breakfast Stout, but when doing some casual browsing I came across a large display of the Expedition and Java sitting together and decided to grab both after recalling them being recommended by a friend. And as I'm checking out, a guy in the next line over just happens to ask the manager about Backwoods... manager goes behind the counter and comes back with a 4-pack for the guy, and with having seen it mentioned on here a few times I told the manager what the hell, throw one in for me too! Definitely looking forward to "expanding my beer horizon" with this latest purchase.

 

Been a good few days. First, a stop at the local place here in glorious Vermont:

Love the nice labeling of the BCS. Can't wait to open this vertical with a group of friends to track the evolution of this great beer through the ages... Also, everything but the BCS was extra, those are some awesome extras! Steve is the man.
