I'm just grateful that the two breweries I spend the most money on I can now get regularly at one place that's 10 min away.

Keep up the good work, I like some of the changes Pizza Boy has made regarding the website and social media. I'll be by sometime this week to grab a case of Sunny Side. Any word on variants you can tease us with?

 

Let’s see... Finger Lakes trip in under two weeks. Coffee beer sitting on the dock of the lake. Fall.

Cacao nibs and pumpkin we’re strong contenders as well

 

I've had 4 - pumpkin, coconut, mint, BBA. I thought the pumpkin and coconut were good. Was not a fan of the mint and BBA. BBA was decent, but not good enough for the price.

With that being said, I really enjoy regular SSu at ~$2/can.

 

Releasing Hazlenut SSU variant Monday but not until 5 : /

Al says 5, but if it's canned earlier he'll put it out. He does what he wants.

 

Picked up a case of SSU today. The first batch of 2018/2019 winter is great. Stronger coffee with less chocolate than I recall, but tasting as fantastic as ever. $2 per can is incredible value for this caliber of beer.

 

Agreed. Such a great beer. Looking forward to the 3 beers being released tomorrow.

 

Any prediction on price for the SSU Hazelnut? I think the cocoa nibs and coconut went for $18 a 4 pack?

Might as well get a case. Reviews look promising on Untappd.

 

Yeah going to see if I can find someone to split it, comes out to $12 a 4 pack if you buy a case. I don't think I really need a whole case to myself, rather leave space for future SSU variants

 

So what's the consensus on the newly canned Sour IPA and Pilsner?

 

Not terribly reminiscent of a Pilsner, but good nonetheless. Not very crisp, not super dry.... but tasty enough. Not mad about the six pack I bought. Didn't have any Sour SGA.

 

I imagine SGA is exactly how sour frontaide lipslide was. Not a Hudson valley sour but is solid for what it's trying to achieve
