Perhaps the more important update: this Henna is outstanding. They are marking your hand for draft pours, so presumably one per person, meaning it's likely to remain on draft for a while. Highly recommend trying it.

 

I got there at 11:20 and lucked into the full allotment. Henna is a little too Coffee strong now but I think it will balance out.

 

Funny thing about that guy that got pissed is that he was a complete jerk to @kdawgmoney later in the taproom.

And we nearly saw a fight while waiting to get in the taproom - it was eventful. Some drunk shady dude ripped off another guy out of $30, but the other guy had shady dude’s credit card and ID...very bizarre.

Henna and Frooted are both outstanding IMO. This is definitely the best Frooted I’ve had.

 

Yeah I'm reading this argument on FB and it is quite hilarious.

Woke up around 6, and decided what the hell, I'll go. Got there around 6:30 about 130 in line. It was smooth release, lots of cutting, but everyone in line got allotments so THIS TIME no harm no foul.

 

So what you're both verifying is that stout season has officially begun!

 

Was this at around 11:35 or so? I saw a confrontation by the door with the F bomb being dropped

 

Depends. If you were hoping to loop, everyone who cut in front of you made it harder to loop. If you were hoping to get your cans and then go to the tap room, everyone who cut in front of you potentially increased your wait time.

More really needs to improve their ticketing system so as to eliminate cutters. With the size of today's tickets/order forms they could've easily numbered them in large type/marker on the back.

That was a different skirmish, but @kdawgmoney was right on the scene for that. It was the group of guys right behind us. I was away while most of it was going down (think I was over checking out the line and talking with @Chris_H_2 at the time), but that dude who pocketed extra money (allegedly) definitely seemed hammered. I also saw him doing a second (or third) loop of the line and telling some other people who just got there that he had been busy all day doing stuff for his son...even though he’d been in line drinking all morning. Classy.

 

To me the question is if BA Hennas also move to cans...

 

I walked in at 1230ish and got a seat at the bar. The frooted was incredible. I doubt I could drink a full pour of it, but it was tasty. This could be considered a crime by some, but I imagine some of my lady-friends would love it with a few ounces of champaigne. More also did a raffle too for breast cancer. The winner i was told gets a full allotment of yesterday's release plus a BA Henna Swirl.

Anyone know what time Henna kicked on draft? Just curious for the sake of posterity

 

And I was going to be up in the area today. I knew it was a pipe dream that this would last on draft until today. Realistically though, just makes life easier today. Some day I'll get to try this beer.

 

I am only assuming kicked based on a lack of evening Untappd check-ins. I don’t know for a fact that it’s gone

I don't disagree with this assessment. Numbered tickets would go a long way in improving today's drama.

 

It’s gone. I was there for dinner last night and it wasn’t on anymore.

 

Just after 4 yesterday. Friend of mine beat me there by about 10 minutes. They marked his hand for the pour and had to come back and tell him it was gone.
