$100 is pretty steep. Especially if you’re going with a spouse/partner. You can have a really nice night out for $200.

My friends and I considered it (before I had to go out of town), but then thought for half of the $600 it would cost for all of us to go to this, we could throw a pretty kick ass party, bbq, and bottle share and have just as much fun.

Though, if I was in town, I’d still probably go. Half Acre party’s are the best, hands down.

I agree. I think $100 per person meal sounds more enticing than $100 of beer to consume in 3-4 hours.

Looks like the list has been updated for almost every brewery attending. What brews are you all looking forward to most? For me it’s gotta be Derivation, hands down.

Call me Capt Obvious, but I'd assume the Millenium Park venue is driving the higher ticket price.

Those Alvarado ipas, I think they won gold at GABF? If I end up going, XUL by Modern Times is my first choice.

I wonder if Maine collaborated on pricing too. HA has been pushing my limits as it is.

Damn, I just looked up Far and Away and that list is sick. I'm actually trying to talk myself out of leaving work early on Saturday, driving down and sleeping on a park bench somewhere. $94 is a tough pill to swallow though.

FOMO hit me hard this morning and so I bought a Far & Away ticket for the noon session.

The list is ridiculous. I'll be at the 5pm session. Doing it to celebrate my birthday on Monday. Can't wait.

Has Now and Then been packaged recently? Just saw it was included in a Half Acre drop at a local shop (Cincinnati area), and I wanted to know if this should be fairly fresh or are they just sending us older stock as another local test run.

Was re-released at the brewery last Friday and hit Chicago area shelves this week. Just check the can dates to be sure.

@Jaycase beat me to it. There should be dates on the bottom of the cans, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks! Just wanted to check before I headed to the shop, about a 1/2 hour away. Will certainly check the can dates.

There are many weddings I would ditch to attend Far and Away. The one this weekend is not on that list. Hopefully this is an annual thing. I’d love for it to become something similar to the Firestone walker invitational

So is everyone going to make a run for Derivation 10 as soon as the gates open?

I guess that’s more of a rhetorical question. I just hope someone will be recording. I got a good laugh out of the video of the neckbeard sprint at Huna day.

That's maybe my first pick but if it's insanity there are plenty of other things on the list I have never had and wouldn't get a chance to have without traveling or trading so I'm just looking forward to having an enjoyable time drinking beers I've never had before.

I haven't had it in about a year, but at the time Contains No Juice was my favorite hazy ipa.

Also, whenever you need something lighter, go get a pout of Taras Boulba.

Even with a ridiculous lineup like that one, Taras Boulba is probably one of the best beers there.

Others described its recent release - I’ll add that the cans that hit your local store are assuredly the most recent. The previous 2 times they made it, it was taproom only
