Maybe a little too late, but Midway liquors in St. Paul still had some as of 10/5.

Born Yesterday is starting to hit stores. I hope it tastes more like the 2016 version instead of 2017.

I'm thinking it must have been the hops?? Even born again yesterday tasted a bit "off" this summer and very similarly to 2017 BY. So must not have been how BY was brewed.

Anybody see any New Belgium Atomic Pumpkin floating around the E/SE part of the Cities?

I always end up buying one sixer in mid-September, then being shocked that I can't find it anywhere in October.

I miss the ‘16 juice bomb. Not very impressed again this year.

I know, I know. 2016 was just one of my favorite beers so my expectations are too high.

For those looking for Founder's Harvest with some age on it, Big Top in Eagan has 4 singles sitting on the shelf with a date of 9/20/17. It's even been cellared at a consistent 70 degrees for a year. Watch those dates!!!

I find that fresh hops tend to fade after about 400 days, so those might be good for a couple more weeks.

Don't cool it down either, you want to taste ALL of the flavor! Mmm 400 day old, 70 degree fresh hops

DMT El Dorado is pretty damn good.

Summer's Over is OK. I thought it was a NEIPA (haaazebro).

Any reports on the Scoopshop IPA? Almost bought it.

If you've had any of the sugar/vanilla bombs from Decadent ales, if tastes very similar. It was borderline undrinkable for me, but the girlfriend was happy to drink the other three cans. She also loves the beers from Decadent ales. I was hoping for something similar to pineapple shook, but they are very different. Shook has much less sweetness, less vanilla, and more hop flavor and aroma.

This is the first beer I have disliked from Sisyphus, but I won't call it a bad beer. It's polarizing.

Picked up a CBS at Cubs West St Paul (Robert St) for $9.99. Wasn’t a mistake either, on the counter with a sign saying ‘$15 off’. Clerk said it was the only one but she didn’t seem real confident. Might be worth a stop for someone.

Waconia Brewing Company (WBC) is doing four barrel-aged bottle releases for their 4th anniversary celebration. The first beer announced is the Gin Barrel-Aged Honey Ale that was their first anniversary beer. That was an amazing beer IMHO. The other three beers will be announced in coming days but I suspect an imperial stout, and maybe a sour. WBC will also be releasing their Deepwater DIPA in cans in the next couple of weeks.
