    No bottles, but the growler fills of Black Note were unexpected.

    Wow, I didn't even to think to look at the growler menu. Black Note would have been unexpected. Leftovers tomorrow?

    Unlike the bottles, which are unannounced, the available growlers are listed on the website. Currently: black note 17, imperial rye ale, port BA third coast, old fashioned holiday ale. $40 each.

    Interestingly those 4 are 4 of the 6 beers that I had at the cafe. Black Note and the Rye Ale (which the beer menu described as a BA Rye 'wine' were excellent, and the other two, while a bit unusual in their taste, were also done well but I rated them a bit lower than the first two. I think the Port BA Third Coast was rated anywhere from 0.5 to 4.75 on Untappd. Quite a divisive beer!

    BA 30th was absolutely the best in show today. I'd drive up there, wait in line, sell my soul, etc. for this beer.

    Still not bottle of BA Expo then. Waiting patiently. Today is the only day this month that I have a concrete obligation. All other days are open to hitting up the general store for bottles!

    Honestly, I think you have all of the bases covered here, so beginning to wonder what you know. First it's not happening this year at all. Then it is. Then likely at the Barrel party. Then likely not. It didn't drop 10/7....so that much is true.

    And please send some to your neighbors across the lake! Not that I'm any kind of expert, but last year's BA Expo was my favorite brew of the year and I follow this thread religiously for fear of missing out.
