    This beer tastes like Swamis and Fresh Squeezed had a child that was 6’6, 280lbs, But was also very Humble...like a Gentle Giant.

    Listermann Brewing Company Basic.

    One of the strangest sounding beers I've ever had based on the ingredients list...but I've gotta say... it's quite fantastic. I'm gonna have to get another 4 pack of this.

    Actually it was around 80F here as well today! It probably won't last though, was more like 55F not 2 weeks ago. Weather is crazy right now. Are you going to be anywhere near Cologne, by the way?

    No - though have been there. The Blue Ridge are still in the background here, but we’re halfway or so to them from our home base. This is just a VA winery in Delaplane that added a brewer because they could.

    I’ll use this reply to correct my initial post - the brewery, Barrel Oak won at VA Beer Cup for their Dubbel, not their IPA. Not sure how many Dubbel entries there were :slight_smile:

    A very surprising fresh hop IPA from Shiner and it's really good. Great medium body mouth feel, not watery at all. Pineapple, lemon, some berries, and slight bitter pine. Well done! I'm going to go back and grab a full sixxer.
