So to confirm, for the Black Tuesday party, trustees can't go unless the member attends with them?

 

My wife just signed on to joining me for BT party. She's not a big fan of beer festivals, but the BT party seems to be the exception.

Looking forward to the first session, and the after party at the tasting room.

Haven’t seen many comments about the latest HS small batch box set, but this bottle of “Will It?” is pretty fantastic! This has been my favorite Terreux offering in the HS small batch sets so far (albeit coming from someone who is not huge into sours).

This was my first one so far from latest batch and can’t wait to try the rest!

 

Man I was hoping they would release BT 375’s but I just got an email saying This is It! It’s your last chance to get BT! Guess that means there will be no 375’s being released this year.

 

Just going to buy 2 for now.

Maybe they're trying to sell the 750's first and then release the 375's like they did with Red Wine BT.

 

That’s what I was hoping for too but the email said today is the last chance to get BT. That wouldn’t be true if they are going to release 375’s.

I think this is marketing being sneaky with language. What it says is last chance to buy BT and BT party tickets. That AND is the key. Last chance to buy them together cause in future you'll just buy BT on its own.

 

The email I got said “This is it! It's your last chance to buy Black Tuesday Allocations. Don't miss out!”

 

I would also read that as marketing language specifying "allocations" vs second chance sale or archive sale or holiday sale, etc. But, if you really want some you should buy some. I don't want to lead you astray if I'm wrong.

 

Yeah I realize BT bottles will be sold again in future sales. All I was saying is that it seems allocations of BT 375’s aren’t happening this year because they stated today is our last chance to purchase allocations of BT. They wouldn’t say that if allocations of BT 375’s were on the horizon.

 

Maybe. I dunno. Based on the general low precision of their marketing communications I don't think I'd read very deeply into things like this.

A couple months ago they had that weird email about how they had an exciting announcement coming... And then no follow up other than regular allocations. I don't think these emails are written with as much purpose as you're giving them credit for.

 

I was really hoping to see the Christmas beer was going to be something other than bourbon barrel aged.

 

Anyone else get an included bottle receipt for BA 10 lords a leaping? Guess we’ll see that pop up today along with non-allocation Black Tuesday bottles lol

 

IIRC, over the last couple of years, BT was readily available in one form or another through the end of the year. With the RS allocation at 12 bottles this year, I find it hard to believe that it won't be again. I still have way too much BT from the last couple of years, so I'm only taking my included bottle. But would definitely pick up a few of the 375's.
