Thanks for the advice but honestly this is a bit entertaining for me. The beer community on this site is a rather sensitive one I have come to find and its fun to a degree to rile them up a bit. This particular thread I feel is the perfect platform for such ridiculous debates as we are having anyway. Funny how people get so triggered, liking or disliking a particular beer style or even an individual beer for that matter is based solely on ones own taste and preference and everyone out there has their own unique taste so you will never get 100% agreement on any of it. Incredibly subjective but people will still argue about it because everyone has an opinion.

Cheladas are super under-rated and over-hated.

 

Remove self-possession, rigid opinions, narcissism and stubbornness from the Internet and what you are left with is hot salad.

 

Hot Salad? Yuck! Sounds about as enjoyable as a Pilsner Although my view on said style isn't shared by the majority of you, I do appreciate those who have respectfully argued their own point with me. No need to be an asshole because I hold the beloved pilsner in contempt. If anything be happy the pilsner haters of the world exist, we aren't drinking up all the beer you enjoy and it makes them easier for you to access.

 

Saisons taste like a mouthful of potpourri and therefore are garbage.

 

Not trolling if it is an honest opinion! I would be trolling if I were to just throw out some random bullshit just to stir people up. I'm stirring people up with a statement I truly believe. That's more of a debate or invitation into discussion.

 

The Saison is beautiful balance of what beer can and should be. The perfect "I don't know what I want to drink right now" beer solution. While the range is wide, good examples are hard to come by these days.

 

The definition of trolling does not require that the comment be an honest opinion, just that it be intended to stir things up.

Edit: Especilly when the honest opinion is expressed in such a way as to tell others they enjoy drinking garbage.

If there is one beer style that gets pushed to the back of my fridge, it's sours. Originally, they were a big part of why I got into beer. Now I find myself rarely buying them and then when I some how amass a half dozen dusty bottles in my fridge, I invite a friend over and we drink through the set. I couldn't do it without him.

 

I think you should start using the prefix "American made- " in front of these declarations; at least they would be closer to the truth.

 

Maybe, but Bud Lite Chelada still sucks tho.
