Bourbon County Prop Day 2018

I was about 30 seconds away from telling my girlfriend that some glitch in the ticketing system didn't award me her ticket, ha!

She's finally enjoying good beer as much as me though, and enjoying the fest with her seemed like a much better result.

 

I have to be honest, if I saw that post my wife would not be going with me.

 

Probably counterfeit SR-71...

 

She's gonna be drinking all your beer now, so I see a breakup in your future as soon as you miss the next big whale.

A year from now, you'll have no prop, no girlfriend, and lament the missed opportunity of SR-71.

 

I saw the offer and while an amazing deal, then I’d be stuck at prop day by myself, not knowing anybody else there. At least with this one I get to bring a good friend to drink with and spend the evening with.

 

Give up your guest spot for a bottle of beer to share with the friends you don't have? Sounds like a cool deal.

 

SR-71 seems like a crazy offer. Just wait a few weeks and you could get it for a third of the VR units. Sure, then you miss the event, but I can't imagine that's what you're paying up for a solo ticket.

 

People drove five hours right at midnight when Toppling Goliath tweeted that they would be releasing this beer. I don’t think giving up your guest prop day ticket is nearly as crazy as that.

 

It’s been my experience that I’m the average, Girlfriends enjoy plane tickets to Mexico more than a few hours at a beer fest, and there’s a world where SR-71 can be turned into a vacation.

 

This was actually my thought.

I will not believe that was a real offer unless I hear from the person who received it in trade.

Seems like it's not trolling. Crossing my fingers that all my extended family e-mail addresses are winners this time.

Definitely doesn't seem like trolling. Gonna throw things off, though. What if the winner is already a guest for someone else? Will they let people then change their guest?

 

I wondered that as well, but I assume it just means you're already going, so just be happy with it? That's the boat I'm in, as someone else is taking me as a guest, but I'd love to have my own ticket to also take an additional person.

 

May happen to my wife. She's my guest, did not win the first round. If it happens I'll find someone local to me to go along that will appreciate the event!

How would you take someone else if you can't change the guest name on your ticket?

They may let you change the guest then, I imagine. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask, if it happens.
