    St. B 12 is around $20 a 4pk. Rochefort is $6-8 a single, on this side of the pond.

    Ugh. About 3€ maybe 4€ for either single bottles here.

    Read $4 or $5 - but then again you guys have the fancy NEIPA and - to me anyway the best BA Stouts that unfortunately we don’t see much around here and when we do they are a tad steep... cheers

    Being that I am such a fan of Belgians I feel the need to comment. IMO, Rochefort 10 is superior to St. Bernardus Abt12. As a matter of fact, I would vote that Rochefort 10 is the best Quadruple brewed in Belgium...that includes a nod over that what many consider to be THE mighty Westvleterlen 12.

    If you want other options:
    Cuvee Van De Keizer Blauw (Het Anker)
    Quadruple (La Trappe)
    Donker (Van Honsebrouck)
    Quadruple (Brouwerij De Have Maan)

    Again, IMO these are some Quads that are deserving of a World-Class rating...each have a signature aroma/flavor that cannot be matched.

    I have had Westy 12 only once and I was (slightly) disappointed. I’ve looked it up here whether on the forums and reviews and that word ‘overrated’ came to mind. We can add overhyped and overpriced as well.

    Don’t get me wrong; Westvleteren is awesome and has reached, prolly deserved its classic status many decades ago already.

    I am having Donker at the moment :wink:

    Another busy morning here with concrete getting poured and stamped for the yard patio. A new bed was delivered too and I'm hopeful better nights sleep are ahead! Now it's time to take a break with a bottle of Greenbush Barrel Aged Dystopia from 06/29/15 that has aged gracefully. It almost tastes like it's sweeter, thicker sibling Delusion now.:yum:
