How come you didn't include those hops in the pic?

 

Was back home and a local bottle shop had an anniversary party. Great spot and everyone who works there is always so damn friendly and helpful. Picked up some sours and pulled a Vig in their lambic raffle. I was pretty satisfied.

 

The results of the First Great European Beer Run of 2018. (Also, just as it happens, the only one.)

First two are from Bristol, and the third is London (except one bottle).

Wiper and True: Citra and Rye, Milk Shake


Bonus material: 1) a bottle of scotch with the nicest natural color I've ever seen and 2-17) a "Felix Unger" to the Hershey Corp. How dare they take away my candy!

 

Isn't it?? Given its availability and price, it's seriously a great beer. I honestly really only grabbed this for the Hoppy Table Beer and the Saison. Those alone for $12 was a steal. It's just such a balanced beer. I try to turn people onto it at work, but for some reason, many people find the word "Belgian" to be scary.

 

The cheap ones were just a bonus. Occupational perk. There's a few goodies in there though. Kinda wanna try that Scottish ale right now... Ehh. I'll be "responsible" and save it for tomorrow.

This is actually two separate hauls. A combination of a trip to Sweden where, apparently, you can get some really cheap craft beer compared to Denmark. And second a package I just picked up today after splurging a bit at an online fall sale.

Got a pack of each, but they were already in the fridge so I just pulled out one of each. I like the gratuitous So I Married an Axe Murderer quote on the Old Chub can.
