Suarez Family Brewing (2018)

I've had Suarez at Alewife before, but that's quite close to Brooklyn

 

They have that soft spot for sure. They’ve had events at the Blind Tiger. Generally speaking, they’re essentially just in Brooklyn though when it comes to NYC. Being adjacent to NYC, it might be worth mentioning that they can be found in Westchester too.

 

Yeah I think they just try to avoid manhattan, ostensibly because of the hassle of driving and dropping off in the borough. Though driving in BK can be a pain in the ass too so i don’t know.

 

I could have sworn that I've seen Suarez at The Jeffrey before. As somebody mentioned they've been at Alewife, which has the same owners, so that would make sense.

 

Brooklyn doesn’t scream “significantly easier” than Manhattan for them. In fact, since we moved to park slope from the west village several years ago, we constantly bitch about the fact that it takes an extra 15-30 mins whenever we’re driving to the Hudson Valley / Catskills.

 

For real I feel like if you’re coming from all the way the fuck up there the last thing you wanna do is drive into BK with your van full of kegs. Seems to me like manhattan would be easier for them but I guess that’s not the case

 

I know I'm late to the distro conversation, but surprised no one mentioned this. Their IG post at the end of August mentioned needing a new member for their NYC distro team. Perhaps that means Manhattan?

Also, it would be great if we had a guy on the inside...
