When I make the trek down to SoCal and to Monkish I look forward to going more for their sours and saisons. I truly enjoy those more than I do their IPA’s.

And yes. I’ve been a victim of the situation you were in. I hate having bottles or cans sell out right before I get there and seeing everyone else sitting around with their allocations. The MO in FOMO.

Yeah but do you like their sours more than Casa Agria or Cellador? Maybe you do! But I've visited SoCal a number of times in the last 2-3 years to scope out their beer scene. For me personally, my favorite brewery there is Casa Agria for their sours/saisons. I'm not really into their hazy IPAs, even though those are their volume sellers.

Haven’t made it to Casa Agria or Cellador as my trips are usually to Anaheim and Long Beach and time is pretty limited. Usually hit up Beachwood for dinner then Monkish right after when I get off the plane.

Seems like West Ashley is still around as of today, if anyone can pick up a couple bottles for me and meet up on Friday in Capitalo for the can release I can comp the price and share some SoCal beers. Shoot me a message if possible! I’m in Santa Maria at the moment for a med school rotation and will be making the drive up on Friday. Cheers.

Cascade is from New Zealand? I assumed with the "c" it was PNW. Lol

Msn, Santa Cruz is coming up a bit in the hoppy can game with Humble Sea, who's beers I really like, and now Sante, which is obviously awesome.

Cascade originated in PNW, but there are now Southern Hemisphere varietals.

Yea the professors patent lasted 3-4 days I think, that also happened to be my favorite canned IPA of 2018. Sara can do no wrong imo.
