Heading to Disney next month. Short trip this time so won’t have time to hit my usual spots in LA. Any recommendations on a good close one stop shop with a great selection near Disney? Option to buy singles is a plus if that is a thing there. But great selection is top of my list. I have heard Hollingshead Deli talked about in the past but that’s been a while. So not sure if that is still a solid option for a bottle shop? I will have my own car so transportation isn’t an issue. But, time is this time around. Thanks in advance.
I live down the street from Disneyland and Mr. K’s in Placentia is my go to bottle shop. Right next to the original Bruery tasting room if you want to kill two birds with one stone
Mr. K's for sure is the best spot Veeco Food Stores is good too and about 2 miles away. What is the general consensus on Veeco? I haven't really been there but know they get some good stuff.
My experience with Veeco is that it’s overpriced and you have to buy a beer or two to get the good stuff. Every now and then Mr. K’s will make you buy something else but for the most part, Mr. K’s is the best beer shop I’ve ever been to.
Honestly, this is the only place you need to go in that area. Huge selection, the best prices ... go here, then with your saved time hit the local breweries or whatever.
Go to Mr. K's. Great selection, and he'll sell you singles as well so you can try everything you desire. (Nothing is really "close" to Disneyland in terms of bottle shops)
Perfect, love buying singles when traveling. Best way to try as many different beers as possible when dealing with weight or space limitations.
I hit Mr. K's on a trip last month. Selection was really nice. Picking up some Modern Times Space Ways made up for Monkish not having a can release all week.
