Well there used to be fairly limited distro to Illinois and surrounding states, if any, no? I remember when stores would get in zombie dust and have a single 6 pack limit on it.

My assumption is they're producing more now that they distro outside of Indiana, but sales have stayed fairly steady, rather than rising. I see lots of FFF stuff in Binny's, but it seems like it continually disappears steadily. I see a lot of people wandering around with Zombie Dust, Gumballhead, Lazersnake, etc. when I'm in Binny's, still.

You see stacks of Founders and Bells on the floor also. Having a product available isn’t a bad thing.

Is this the place to start the rumor that Dark Lord will be canned?

I think, by protocol, you would have to wait til the next DLD thread.

There is currently a Dark Lord Day 2019 thread. But it is all serious, so I deem it illegitimate. We need an Official Dark Lord Day 2019 thread to talk about Canned Dark Lord and the variant Iron Aged Dark Lord.

They are only in 4-5 states aren't they? Plenty of markets to expand into.

I just wish I could find decently fresh Alpha King. I visit many different stores around Cincinnati in OH, KY, and IN, and I rarely find it less than 2 months old. The dates on Necron 99 literally make me lol. Thankfully, Robert the Bruce is still trickled out slowly enough that there isn't a problem (not that Scottish ale needs to be fresh, anyhow.).

Yep. IN, IL, WI, OH, KY. Maybe PA wants them back? That might clear up my problem from the post above.

Geordonnay is awesome. Let it warm and the Blackberry is so natural and refreshing. Loved it

Grapes of Smash is really nice too. Reviews were saying too tart and "like skull ole." Not remotely true. Its tart but well carbed like a crisp saison but definitely not too tart.

Both beers are worth a try. Two of the better sour beers I've had from 3 floyds

Good to hear. I picked up one of each this weekend. I'll try Geordonnay first since Rev's Code Switch put me into blackberry beer mode.

Of the two, which would you say is more tart/acidic?

Grapes of Smash is more tart but I don't find it face puckering.

Geordonnay may be more acidic in the same way a Flanders can be abrasive to your throat.

Honestly though both beers were really well done. Geordonnay finishes really dry and definitely is a better beer warmer than cold. Probably one of the more underrated projects they have done in some time. Excellent use of the blackberries.

Floyd’s has really upped their sour game the last few years. I’d argue that a few of them are some of the best the market has to offer.

Probably their best effort and a very nice, unique beer.

I kind of refuse to buy their bombers and they never seem to have anything new in 6 packs. I could walk their in roughly an hour. What exactly is good in pub only release recently?
They need to open their fucking distillery before worrying about other states

Pear Bear is my favorite sour of all time. I remember driving to pick up bottles and trying the first sip on tap
