Anyone crack any of the Void variant cans yet? Don’t see any reviews on the interwebs.

    Thanks

My least favorite shake ever. Shame too, because it could have been so good but they missed the mark last year. I wonder if will be better this year.

I posted this above, but I had the Rice Pudding Toffee and thought it was very good. Loads of cinnamon, toffee and nutmeg. I also had the Strawberry Milkshake Void and thought it was just "ok" for what I think they were going after. The mouthfeel was definitely lighter and I didn't get a ton of strawberry nor a ton of milkshake.

I plan to crack one of the chocolate lavenders either tonight or tomorrow, I'll report back. The Single Origin Coffee Void is always solid, so that will be the last one I try from this years batch. I still have one of each the berry and coffee from last year. Time to do a side by side comparison.

Do the Only Voids hold up well? I still have a couple from the 6th Anniversary.

I personally have never had a tired hands stout hold up well. They have all got the fizzy carbonation after a year, like soda bubbley and not beer if that makes sense. Didn't keep in fridge but they also never got warm either. I'm sure it varies but that is my experience and why I didn't get any stuff this time. Curious if others have had the same experience. Cheers.

I honestly would take most of the other local stouts over what Tired Hands does. Either the blend of adjuncts is not my cup of tea or the yeast gives it a twinge of something, not sure. Only Void and Coffee Only Void have been great over the years but not something I actively seek out.
I'm also getting tired of canned stouts. Get off my lawn.

Hoping that lasts until Thursday (which is crazy that it's even a possibility).

Last year was a Double Spice Latte? This year is a Chai Latte?

I'm thinking the typical chai flavors will work way better in an IPA form with pumpkin.

Yeah it's a different pumpkin shake. They seem to be pretty happy with this one.

Also, they specifically mentioned that it's not too spicy... and I'm glad they did.

Anyone remember other instances when they were particularly happy with how a beer came out? I know taste is subjective to a degree, in just wondering if it resulted in a fan favorite in the past.

Honestly I think it's too often to count. Their happiness I mean, not necessarily that it's a fan favorite.

I know they've said in the past that the Vanilla Milkshake is a perfect representation of their vision of the Milkshake series. Also, from what I've seen, generally everyone's favorite flavor

I remember when they first released Extra Knuckle they said something like it was perhaps the best IPA they'd ever made.

Isn't that every IG post from every brewery? They are just marketing their product. I've fallen for it. Took several less than spectacular beers (not necessarily from TH) for me to stop reading posts and mostly stop buying one offs . They've only hurt themselves in the long run.

So far I've only had the Single Origin Coffee Only Void from this release but it was very good.

Yeah, well based on last years version, I'm still skipping it. Also, I'm not a huge chai fan. Someone else can have my allotment at $ 25 a four pack.

That's what happens too when you have 10 cans of various inventory now.

Was actually hoping they wouldn't go that high since I will be in the area late Thursday night and plan to stop by. I doubt most people buy a case but less likely to still be around Thursday night now.
