I find it ironic that one of the heaviest hitters in this group likes the Punisher. If your nickname wasn't already Sparkles, I would've considered your nickname to be The Beer Punisher.

Bright golden kolor, very nice haze, and a dense white head. Absolutely gorgeous beer. Dank tropical fruits on the nose - mango, grapefruit, papaya maybe?

The taste is exotic and the mouthfeel has bite - this is a krisp, fruity hop bomb that drinks dangerously smooth. Kane kontinues to krush it, KMHO.

 

Woah! What's this! @jhavs agreed to send me some treats from the Northeast and OH MY. I am excited. I have to drink all these before my NYC trip, so it's going to be a great week.



I've never had a single Hill Farmstead beer, so that beer means a lot. It was the first out of the bundle I uncovered. The last caused the most shock - Maine Beer's Lunch. I quite literally squealed with excitement. Very eager to try various IPAs from the Northeast!

Side note: I'm cat sitting this weekend, and this was included in the box. Very helpful! And fun.



I'm looking forward to BIF #9 even more now.

Pours a murky golden color with a 2 finger white, and frothy head. The retention is good. No lacing on the glass. Lots of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass.
The nose is quite funky. That is what I got when I popped the cork. Up close I get a sour, funky fruity aroma. I get a bit of grapes, which makes sense aged in wine barrels. There's also a slight sweet aroma, but the funky and sour are king.
Taste - light, dough flavor. Not much funk or sour. Just a slight tartness on the backside. Slight red wine flavor from the barrel.
The body is decent. Somewhat "dry". Nice feel on my palate of the carbonation.
This is a delicious beer. Really tasty, and just the right ABV in my book.

 

Speaking of aesthetics and the like, that glass is super dope.
