MY day with KBS

    Today I was fortunate enough to score a 4-pack of KBS thanks to Peabody's in Boone, NC. It has been all i had hoped for. Without a doubt one of the smoothest barrel aged stouts I've ever tasted. What a great way to spend a day off from work. My question is......What beer release have you gone as far as taking off work to enjoy???

    I left my house at 4 in the morning to get to a release by 6:30. Doors didn't open until 11. I started drinking in line soon after I arrived and didn't stop until I went to bed. A fantastic day.

    Its better when you can walk into said bottle shop, buy KBS off the shelf, walk home and enjoy said KBS....

    I took today off and have 21 bottles of KBS and more reserved. My partner in crime got 12 of KBS as well.

    I'm pretty sure after another week or so that all the KBS jokes are going to get stale.

    Being in college, I have some free time. However, I also have very limited funds. So when I went to my local place, asked for KBS and was told that it was $9.99 with a 1 bottle limit, needless to say I was appalled. But, I've never had this beer and really wanted to try it so I ponied up the 10 bucks + tax for 12 oz of beer.

    This better be worth it is all I'm saying.

    Thats excellent! I believe I have access to one bottle, and I got laughed at when I asked about KBS lists a few months back.
