    this is such excellent news!

would really like to know if anyone's aware of the location... there are only so many spots in brooklyn that are zoned for this, so guessing it'll either be east williamsburg / bushwick, red hook or gowanus? unless they're getting a hookup at industry city or navy yards or something like that

My vote is for Red Hook/Gowanus area, not that we need it hah!

Roasted Sesame and matcha. I’m going to have to give this a whirl.

Finback does a great job with stouts in this ABV range. They produced Latte, which was brewed with coffee, coconut, and cardamom, a few weeks back. I thoroughly enjoyed that one.

In my opinion, Finback hand's down makes the best stouts out of any NY brewery.

I think most NYC beer heads believe Finback the best in the stout department and I count among them. I didn’t love Latte though, for as good as it sounded on paper, the cardamom was over the top for me when I had it at the taproom and I passed on a 4-pack.

Hoping to get by on Saturday for this stout though, sounds like a killer combination of flavors.

Fair enough, it certainly was cardamon-forward. That said, I have an unusual affinity for cardamon so I really dug it. Certainly agree that I can't think of anyone in NYC who is doing stouts better.

Please report back on Shadowless if you get your hands on some this weekend. Cheers.

Don't sleep on Something Amarillo from last week's launch. Just as good if not better than the Citra and Mosaic versions, depending on how partial you are to Amarillo. Visible Spectrum is also tasting on point.

Collabing with Mikerphone on a pastry stout according to IG.

Need some BA Finback goodness ASAP more than I need a pastry stout but hey.

They also just did a collab with Sand City, a Gose with smoked sea salt and lime aging in tequila barrels. I’m guessing that one isn’t ready for a few months at least though.

Believe they were loading a stout and a sour into barrels when I stopped in on Tuesday. And amen to Something Amarillo being something really tasty.

Swung by today and tried the Shadowless, Social Fabric and Something Amarillo (based on the praise here).

Shadowless is a great stout, but didn’t necessarily pop with the flavors from the matcha or sesame. I bought cans because it was just a good stout to begin with and because I’m thinking the cans and a warmer serving temperature may show more of the added ingredients.

Social Fabric is delicious. Would have happily bought a 4-pack.

Amarillo same story. I agree with all the praise.

Also, Finback has a TON of different can options right now. Crazy.

Every iteration of “Something ___” has been awesome. Citra was the best but they all held their own. Havent tried Amarillo yet but I’ll probably swing by durinf the week.

Oscillation 14 is amazing. I've had every one in the series (pats self on back), and this one is in the top 3. They've all been awesome, but this up there with 008 and another one I don't recall off the top of my head.

Anyone know the best way to get updated list of available cans? Know it is an off chance but hoping there is still some Social Fabric and Something Amarillo
