Used to love Belgian beers, too Phenolic for me now.

British Ales were a favorite, then not, now they are again a favorite on Cask.

Went through the bigger everything is mo' Betta phase. Now I want a well balanced drinkable beer. Lots of lagers, ales, and good IPAs.

After saying all of that, Schlenkerla Märzen is a beer I love.

None. My selection has expanded indefinitely without shrinking much. I guess I drink less witbier than I used to, but not intentionally. It's not that I don't like it. It's just that I'm usually drinking my favorite styles--IPA, pilsner, and stouts.

I don't like Gose, Westbrook's version at least, it's extreme IMO. I like all the individual pieces but put together it's like drinking super salty seawater. But then along comes Westbrook Key Lime Gose, and this one is nicely scaled back on the salt and the lime works very nicely.

I’ve lost my taste for most English/Irish imports
Don’t care for Brown Ales much anymore

Drink a lot more Helles Lagers and Kolsch’s than ever

At the bottleshop in Regensburg Germany, the owner said Westbrook tasted like sea wster. That was not a positive comment.

Their regular is very salty, and very sour, kinda like warheads. But ya know guys love the stuff, it sells like crazy.

I'd also recommend the Key Lime, if you get the chance and it's so much different than the other.

My tastes swing constantly so this is a hard one for me but IPAs I hated, then loved for quite a while, then I became very meh about them (my current state).

As a baseline a good Lager has never gone out of fashion with me and I can drink one anytime.

Granted my beer drinking history is rather short, I do find myself caring little about standard Porters, English or American. I guess I just gravitate towards imperial porters or BA stouts if I'm in the mood for a darker beer.

Ten plus years ago I was not a fan of belgians or saisons. Now I thoroughly enjoy them.

On the flip side I have no desire to buy any form of hefe anymore.

Big micro lagers, SA Boston Lager, Point Special, several Leinenkugels, mainly just moved on from them to APAs and Porters immediately after.

I drank a growler of Old Raspy once with some friends on a Sunday football binge (with other Big stouts) and was burnt out on higher ABV stouts for at least 3 months. Then I went through a phase where I didn't like the yeasty sasions, and now they are one of my fav. styles. Right now I'm "off" on the tastes for Hefs, Belgian Tripels (just the Trips for some reason), and Gose isn't quite working for me right now. Everything ebs and flows and my tastes are always changing but overall I'm like others and rotate styles almost daily so I never really burn out.

Belgian Dubbels.. Used to love them (along with all other Belgians), but I really just ignore them. Tripels, yes.. Dubbels, no. Quads, if they are special enough.

Dubbels, IMO, have always been the annoying little brother of the Trappist/Abbey family. There are good ones out there, but they are few and far between.

I'll happily take St. Bernardus Pater over the Abt any day of the week. Then again, I've been hoping for a while now that we'd see even more lower gravity Belgian beers in the US (I was actually thrilled to see the Extra 4 when it came out, until I saw the price.) Imo, this is a niche that's dying to be filled, and hopefully some US brewers will figure that out.

Dubbels (or non monastic Belgian Bruin beers) are my favorite of the Belgian styles.

But I don't but I would agree that they are the red headed step child. Like so much else. They are generally less than 8% alcohol so don't have enough alcohol for so many "beer nerds".

I haven't liked Tripels because I've always felt the malt can't stand up to the yeast and alcohol and they became to one dimensional for me.

How do you feel about singles/patersbier?

I don't think it's just that. I think they're just an awkward style that's hard to make well.

This is on my shopping list to try. A bit higher ABV than the Extra 4 but should be fairly tasty.

I think it's more like any dubbels are few and far between. Non-Trappist imports are pretty much non-existent here now. Jeeze, even Allagash has given up on selling one. Do you really see any significant volume of bad dubbels? Around here, stores are loaded with beer... and if you want a dubbel these days, you're pretty much limited to a Trappist brew or something like Ommegang/New Belgium. In other words, the ratio of good to bad is actually pretty decent for the consumer. Not sure how it's an "awkward" style, but I assume you're thinking of level of yeast character to ABV and hop balance. Care to elaborate? Personally, I almost never buy them, but poor access to a fresh-ish import selection is a huge part of that.
