Was able to get a 4 pack of the Cloud Jumper and Juice Bomb, and crowler of Galaxy Bomb. Had a can of both last night. Love Juice Bomb, the Cloud Jumper was different. Tasted like it was brewed with spices. Having another one now out of a pint glass and it's more enjoyable. Not getting the same Chinese 5 spice flavor I did last night.
It certainly is murky, orangish Brown.

Yeah this batch of Cloud Jumper is way different. I also noticed a big difference in flavor from Thursday to Friday and got some of that "Magnify burn" toward the end of the can.

I'm hoping this was just an off batch and maybe it will calm down in a week or so.

I assume that they're going to be distributing cans now, but the article doesn't confirm. Anybody have any ideas what their plans are?

My shop up here in Albany said they'll be getting cans this week and that it should be fairly regular going forward. Very excited by that.

Anybody have their new stuff? I wasn't too impressed with any of the Juice Bombs I had the past few months, and the can I had of Pixie Dust from the Factory wasn't great. I loved (No) Pumpkin from last year and the stuff I've had at The Barn has been great, and I'm optimistic that they'll become a consistently available source for shelfie NEIPA, but so far I'm not quite convinced.

I found (No) Pumpkin in cans at my local shop here in Ithaca. It was delicious.

A hop that’s often misrepresented/poorly depicted yet Sloop’s representation is textbook:

A force of bright citrus rind, lemon zest, orange, mango puree, pineapple, and a palate full of ripe grapefruit. Simcoe Bomb is pulpy and juicy with subtle workings of vanilla and honey + malt in the distant background

Creamy with a bitter edge: fairly clean and earthy

    This one you tried?

I don't see any Sloop cans, but Craft 303 in Tappan usually has a Sloop keg at the crowler station. Last week they had the Simcoe Bomb on, and it really does seem like they got something out of that hop that few others do, yet it still screamed Simcoe all the same. I was really happy to pick up a few, and hope they get it again.

Would like to see Chief collaborate here: think sloop would be a perfect fit…Hell Jeff can pull miracles out of any hop (e.g. cascade)

Are cans turning up in the likes of BeerWorld regularly now? Or are you still better off hitting East Fishkill?

Their beer is everywhere according to friends, Juice Bomb and another just showed up in New Paltz, so you know all the other stores have them as well. OTOH the Fishkill location is a must visit, it absolutely blew me away.

And if I didn't try to talk people out of shopping at Beer World I wouldn't feel right, so, people, ANYPLACE is better than Beer World to buy beer.

Oh, sure - check your dates, etc. I usually stick to growlers + new releases.

Besides, on that side of the river what else have you got? K&E in New Paltz, Beer Universe in Saugerties... I'm not sure Beer World is the worst of those.
I've bought the occasional unicorn at R&R in Woodstock but that gets expensive fast...

Just figured I’d throw in here that the recent cannings of Juice Bomb and Bomb Down Under are both amazing. Right there with Wrench in terms of proper NEIPAs. Happy I could procure both here on Long Island.

Whatever reasons anyone has for not shopping at Beer World I am in favor of. Not gonna enumerate the things wrong with this skeevy outfit here in this thread about something else, but every time someone doesn't buy beer from them another angel gets its wings.

Indeed. Had two beer yesterday, one Juice Bomb, one Wrench, and they were both fantastic, especially compared to each other that way.
