The first time I read through it, I couldn't help but interpret this as a response to all the negative feedback being thrown around on social media...

More of a "Fine, you guys don't like buying bottles of our fancy sugar water for $100, then we'll just stop selling them, jerks!" Juvenile response that I would typically expect out of TG.

But is this really just another one of TG's numerous cryptic tweets hype-elevating yet again? I would roll my eyes harder, but I think the friction would melt my skull.

If I just ignore the fact that this might be a hype game, or one of TG's patented pout-fests, I actually think draft only or on-site only would be the best possible outcome for both sides considering all this bs. Charge a marginally less stupid price for a small pour (similar to the $18 4 oz. of SR-71), everyone get their ticks and everyone leaves... satisfied?

Only the most credible of tweets are sent out at one in the morning.

Is there a bigger tool in Midwestern craft beer than Clark?

In order to fairly answer this question, do you include message board posters in the "Midwestern craft beer" pool?

I’m talking industry, but sure fire away.

That tweet is either comical petulance or just blatant hype whoring. Either way it’s just another in a long list of general crappy behavior

Not 100% sure. Although, Mike posted on Twitter that almost all of their offerings will be in cans by early 2019.

In other release notes: Zeelander is coming to bombers and on tap soon - taproom only.

We’ve reached a point in Chicagoland where none of the bombers move all that quickly anymore. A year from now, we’ll see if any brewery can get away with putting hops in that format

Call me the eternal optimist, but couldn’t it be possible that at 1:00am they perhaps just finished waxing a bunch of bottles? After a long tedious day of doing that maybe they’re seriously evaluating going to cans for KBBS? I know they’ve said they’re keeping the big stouts in bottles but maybe they’re rethinking that and that’s what this tweet is referring to?

I'd imagine there are far fewer bottles of KBBS to wax than MD...and they've never indicated a discontinuation of bottling MD.

I know this is a TG release and updates thread. But I have to say, after many years of chasing trucks and bombers and such. I’m SO HAPPY to be able to get Psuedo Sue, Pompeii, Golden Nugget, and variants such as bombers of Hopsmack, Imperial Gnugg, King Sue, and the such. I read a lot of negative reviews of TG. You All be careful what you wish for, in IOWA.

sorry bro- I would bang those all out for pizza and a bottle- they are just playing the hype game. Their halo programs are comical- king sue is great, the rest of their line up is decent, but face big competition- at least here in Massachusetts.

This is no personal offense to you, but sometimes I wonder what is more childish. Grown men (and women) sitting on this website that whine and complain about EVERY single little thing breweries decide to do. One, I'm not sure how bored people must be to spend every waking hour obsessing over these releases and the decisions breweries make on how to release beers. If it's not complaining how the release is handled, it's the cost, or the hype. I mean, make a decision not to buy the product, simple. Two, clearly none of the people on these forums own breweries and make these beers. It's actually quite humorous when people pretend they would take the high road and not "hype" up the release of one of their BA stouts. I mean KBBS is the number one beer in the world and has been for 8+ years? It would be bad business practice NOT to market the shit out of your beer. If you don't want to pay 100$, someone else will. Obviously they want to cut into some of the secondary value of the beer. Smart business if you ask me, bc regardless they will find 1000 people to buy the bottles up in less than 5 mins? I can't imagine being on the brewery side of things, and constantly dealing with butt hurt/negative beer-nerd-trolls who spend their waking hours complaining. I guess my overall point is who cares what breweries decide to do, its their business to run. I've never heard of a brewery with a business plan to screw over customers above all else. Either buy it or don't. Maybe these forums are just to bitch. Sure seems that way anymore.
