That was the most lead time we had received since they announced a week or so before the eventbrite went up. Normally the eventbrite goes up on a Sunday/Monday and then the sale is the next Sunday with the release being the next Saturday and a 2-3 week pick up window.
FOb4 was probably the largest release but only they really know. DSN last year was also 4 pp and lasted longer.

Space Trace was 2pp this year, so i kind of doubt that one would be one of the larger releases next year, but who knows. Last year Darkstar November was 4pp (with an additional 3pp on Redeye) and that was probably the biggest release until this year's FO.

given the popularity of Space Trace this year, I can see them expanding production but maybe still not as much as FO...but you never know

Bummer, you missed out! Hopefully you can stop by again while on draft.

I arrived about 10mins before opening. Glad I did good, because I only had time for a quick pour and bottle pickup. I figured with only 1 pouring station of PCC, that line might get long.

I must say, WOW! I was very impressed, primarily because it was significantly better than what was poured in May. The difference from light and day. This was my favorite release this year.

    Great job Bottle Logic!

Just come out for Week of Logic. It's BL's anniversary party and it lasts a whole week. Last two years it's been the week of March 20th. There's always a Stasis pickup (this year was Roll for Initiative) and tons of stuff on tap.

I don't think "sponsored" is the correct term. It looks like that restaurant (like others) have beer pairing dinners where they "feature" beers from one brewery. It's likely that BL will send a representative to talk about the beers that are being served as they've done at similar events at Eureka! and High Park Tap House.

Interesting, but I think I'm going to pass on the dinner. The only info I could find is on EB and it's very vague with no mention as to what beers are being served or the food. Would have been a nice BDay dinner too. I really wish Beachwood would bring back Dionices those where amazing beer dinners!

I have aquired a few bottles of FO recently. So far Ive only had 2 bottles and both tasted equally great. I hear something about there being bottle variations. Some are more sweet or have more barrels notes than others. Did anybody else experience this?

The keg they tapped earlier this year was less sweet then the bottles with lots more barrel notes.

Why not dm them and just ask for a detailed description of the event and let us know.

What makes you think I already haven't tried calling for more details. Either way there is no reason to hide the menu / beer pairings.

I will be attending Convivium II instead. I wish it was on a weekend, but it should be nice either way.

Speaking of BL beer dinner events that actually have a lot of detailed info. available, it’s time again for Eureka’s BL dinner pairing and included bottle of 2018 FO. Available for HB and Irvine locations at the moment, but I’ve heard other Eurekas have similar events.

No on El Duende then? From the DSN party last year. That was my favorite stout of 2017. Was really hoping for a bottle release this year. Bummer.
