If only it were that simple. Who carries my bags at an airport? Is a Sherpa like a Kolsch? So confusing.

At the airport it's a Skycap. So, probably something light and airy like an AAL.

Spell check probably starts smoking at the use of gaol. It just did for me.

If you feel the need to tell someone they have many flaws because they can't appreciate looking for flavor that's never going to show up, then you definitely have a lot of flaws as a human.

Yeah, I think you took my comment a bit too seriously. I don't care what anyone drinks, so as long as they are not drinking my beer.

Maybe try looking for the flavors that are there, instead of the flavors that aren't?

Do you hate apple pie because it doesn't taste like blueberry pie?

I'm get it and I enjoy many of those beers myself when the time is right but I can understand how someone can easily overlook or pass on them because they are not nearly as flavorful as other beers. Though I'm not entirely sure how someone can hate them as they are inoffensive, unlike a sour or a sweet stout or something.

And for the record, I do hate any pie flavored beer.

Craft beer is not inherently racist or sexist.

It's a drink, how can it be sexist or racist? Like this is the exact opposite of controversial.

Come on, man. You know what I'm saying. "The Craft Beer Industry" and "Craft Beer Consumers".

I know I just like to occasionally troll  and tbh I don't even think that's a controversial statement. It seems to me like half of the craft community is just liberals attacking each other's microaggressions (heads for the bomb shelters after typing that).

I've never had an issue with kids at a brewery, pub, or bar. I have been bringing my kids (now 13 and 11) to breweries and pubs since they were babies. These places are usually noisy and bustling. So 99% of the time, the kids are alright. Of course if the kid throws a tantrum, most sane parents would leave. I agree that the problem is usually with obnoxious grown-ups. What I DO have a problem with is the current industry trend of allowing dogs in breweries. We were at Trillium last month, and there were 4 or 5 dogs inside the brewery. Not outside. My wife has a fear of dogs. Yes, I know everyone feels their dog is super cool and friendly, but that does not alleviate my wife's anxiety around dogs.. Dogs are animals, shed hair, sniff your crotch, and when agitated could possibly bite. All dogs. even the most friendly. I don't think dogs should be allowed in breweries. Please leave your pooch at home so my wife can enjoy her pint without fear. :-) (I love dogs by the way!)

I think craft breweries brew too many different beers. It's overwhelming. I enjoy a beer I love at a brewery, and then never get to have it again once its gone. I wish breweries would just perfect 8 to 10 beers in varying styles and stick with that! I don't need to be the guinea pig for your experiments lol!

You'd think that it wouldn't be, but do you know how often I've seen those statements in print over the last couple months? Too many times to remember.

I've seen children cause issues at breweries far more often than I have dogs, and nobody is clambering to pet your child (hopefully). Most egregiously, I saw parents in line at Hudson Valley with a rambunctious kid take their eyes off of him for a minute while he pulled the plug on a barrel, allowing some beer to come out, when dad quickly stuck it back in (not taking the time to alert the staff to the fact that this happened of course, the residue of which quickly drew fruit flies to the barrel). I would be surprised if he hadn't given the same spiel online about how "well-behaved kids with responsible parents like mine are fine at breweries!!"

Leave your kids at home. There's nothing for them at breweries. Bring your dogs if they're friendly, instead. They don't ruin barrels of beer and I like to hang out with them while I drink.

+1 to this. There’s an egregious epidemic of rambunctious kids pulling plugs from barrels up and down the country. When are people going to open their eyes? And each and every time the parent is subsequently online, remarking about how well behaved their children are at breweries. Absolutely shocking. Thank you for shining a light on this @William_Navidson - not all heroes wear XXL metal/brewery shirts.

Just to play devil's advocate, a child may pull the plug from a barrel, but a happy dog's wagging tail may knock a glass or two off a table, or even cause an allergic reaction.

Thanks for spreading the Word, obvious as it may be to those like us who understand that children don't belong anywhere near a brewery and their presence is nearly always a net detriment in one way or another (exactly the opposite of canines).

For me it's more I don't actually care if you child or dog is well behaved or not, or whether you blow cigarette smoke in my face, or not, at adult drinking establishments that don't specifically ban children, dogs, or smoking, I prefer for your dogs, children, and cigarette smoke not to be there. I don't have to like your dogs, children, or cigarette smoke at adult drinking establishments, that is what America is about, freedom to do even if others don't like it, and freedom to not like what others do. But let's not paint it like dogs don't fight and no one is allergic, children don't act badly and all parents are attentive saints, and cigarette smoke in the air doesn't suck for folks who hate it. We put up with "you", guess "you" have the equal right to put up with us folks who don't like it. America.
