    Relic/Oktoberfest.

Shimmering, vibrant orange amber body. Clears as it settles. 1 finger of foamy off white head.
Bready, toasty and sweet aroma. Closer to honey than caramel. Hints of earthy and floral hops.
Taste follows the nose. Toasty and crusty with more of the caramel sweetness. Hints of nuttiness before the hops show themselves. A bit of spice mixed with the floral hops.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Soft and a bit slick. The beer finishes crisp and grainy.

Probably the best Connecticut brewed Marzen I have had.
    Cheers, all.

I had to do something after your snowglobe post. Too early.

I can't find my back to back photo.

Who knew warm AAL could smell so appealing? Was planning on finishing up with Hamm's until lawn mowing season.

I will not be finishing this. I think my palate is too sensitive to beers like this right now. Way too sweet and heavy on the spice for me. And the whiskey barrel makes it even sweeter. I had a Pumking earlier in the season and I found it cloying as well. I was surprised by my reaction.

Least appealing cigarette pic ever. Still want one. What's wrong with me?

How is Solemn Oath? I was at Binnys a couple days ago and they had a couple beers with people getting fucked by vikings. I couldn't make up my mind so bought neither. There was also a beer from a place in Niles I think called Hubbard something i want to try. It was from niles i always get naperville and niles confused. But, who needs to know that anyway?

Basically yes. There's a Natty Light in there for good measure and some seasoning as well.
