    Taking a break from the morning 'to do' list with a Central Waters beer I'm really going to miss. Heading outdoors after this to start dismantling the Halloween decorations. It will soon be time to start looking for the Christmas ones that are buried amongst the boxes in the basement. I find something I've been missing every time I go down there.:wink:

    Then, Smog City (2016) “Buzzworthy”, a BBA Honey Stout, made with Meadowfoam honey, which led to the discovery of “zombees”:



    And now lunch with a turkey cheese Sammie named after me(!) here...and Port Brewing’s “Older Viscosity”:

    took a good nap and now for more coffee. been quite the cozy day, makes up for the real shit night i had last night. getting all my beer out of the way before @joe1510 comes around to harass us all again. something about beer in a pup mug makes it go down a lot faster.

    Laughing Monk / Libertine Collaboration: 8% Brut DIPA with Huell Melon, Loral, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria.

    I like my Brut IPAs, but a Brut DIPA?! I had to try it. All I have to say is that this one is quite good.

    Because of the Brut dryness, it never gets that malty sweetness that you associate with DIPAs. And the hop combo is quite fascinating. It almost tastes... grape-like? I dunno. I've never tasted this profile before. I think I'm going to pick up a few more cans of this.
