Although it isn't anything fancy if I was tasting that style of beers I would consider adding Xocoveza as well

Not a fight, just an angry target from another BIF. We will work it out. Brotherly love at its best

Sharing this New Glarus Raspberry Tart from @Blackop555 with my buddy who loves sours. He's never had any New Glarus Before. It's blowing his (and my) mind. These guys have absolutely nailed down the fruited tart/sour game. Incredible beer, so decadent. Cheers fellas!

That's an awesome beer. Very happy that they are doing it in 12 oz bottles now.

So, I'm going to make an executive decision, and start the NBS BIF Secret Santa. I'l probably wait about a week to start a thread, but, I'm still looking for guidelines from you meatballs. Also, gonna tag a few folks, but because of the 5 tag rule, there'll be a few of these.

    Would @cavedave , @smanson56 , @woemad , @Premo88 , or @sharpski be interested in doing a Secret Santa sorta-BIF?

I've thought about it, and I'd like to join in. It should be safe weather wise to do it.

Guidelines: I'd say a medium or large flat rate boxes only.

Mike sent me a box today! There are some awfully exciting beers in here, too - way to hit all of my favorite styles, Mike!

I believe that's my first first Fonta Flora which is kind of thrilling. Those sours have me very excited, too - I love sours in this format, though I surely do not mind solo-doming a sour bomber...

That Cellar Door has me QUITE curious - have you had this one yet Mike? Is it ready for drinking right now? Should I share this one, or should I man up and drink this one alone? Regardless, that's some beautiful artwork, and the beer looks very interesting!

This is just an awesome expression of how well Mike knows me - I really like Wicked Weed and really wish we had distro here in MN. But we don't, and now I have TWO bottles of Coffee Dark Age to tide me over for a while. Thank you, Mike - good call, man.

Dude, in spite of what you said, I'd say that this box is a perfectly adequate response to that MD. Thank you so much! I'm really looking forward to all of these new ticks. Cheers @Dragginballs76 !

I had that Zoose Joose last night, it was pretty tasty. My best description would be a dessert sour, maybe that's the Angry Chair part of the collab. Great box @Dragginballs76

I have no idea what the difference between a Secret Santa and a BIF is, but it sounds like fun :sunglasses:. I'm in!

Thanks for thinking of me, but that will coincide with my "dry out" month starting on Dec. 17 (the day after our Stout Tasting Weekend). Guess I'll enjoy the madness from the sidelines. Cheers!

Time to go to Mars, with Mission To Mars from @FlintB 's ninja package. Very delicious take on an IPA. I've had quite a few "normal" IPAs lately, and this is a very good change up from normal.

I'm sure you all know, I'm not normal.

Pours a nice darker red color. Somewhat murky. The head is off white, 2 1/2 finger very frothy, with good retention. There's some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose is lighter hopped. Slight pineapple. Somewhat of a malt undertone.
Taste - Up front there's a malt presence, On the back is where the hops kick in. Tangy, pineapple, pine.
The mouthfeel is somewhat creamy. Some carbonation. Nice full body. The hops do linger in my throat.
Tasty, and interesting take on an IPA. The flavors compliment each other very well, and it's quite tasty.

Thanks so much for sending me this beer, and I even had to add it to the system. Cheers all.

Apparently I’m very impressionable. This is good.

Triple > Sip > Sextuple > Double ... but it’s all damn close! :beers:

Yep — but wait til Saturday! I hope everyone will join us virtually if they can’t be here in person.

Quebec is not that far a drive, BTW.
