Nice, dude. Rooting for Kentucky. They're looking good as ever. Good luck with the move, too. @vabeerguy is in the Richmond area (if you're moving near there) and has a vast knowledge of the local breweries around there. I'm sure he'd be glad to share his knowledge.

Just need to know when it hits in Indiana so I can buy two packs.

I always liked the older graphics and I'm not sure how I feel about the new. Especcially the art for Celebration....I much prefer the 2011 Celebration Artwork. It felt warm, inviting and brought back so many good memories of the Holiday Season for me.

I never thought the graphics had "too many layers" , I think it looks just right. I especially enjoyed the art for Glissade. I didn't like how the bigfoot 6 pack holder went to mostly black w/the cartoon. I always looked forward to that blue, traditional design.

Already ordered and picked up my first keg and 12 pack of the season. I Usually wait till November 1st to have my first one, however I couldn't hold out and had one the other night. It's so freaking good this year! I can't wait to pour the first pint from the Keg, I always love to compare.

Anyone have a Celebration Ale Banner they'd like to sell? I've been trying to find one and haven't had any luck! Need one for my mancave!

Old Town in Alexandria. We were there a few weekends ago signing a lease. Got to check out Port City and Bluejacket while we were there as well. Can't wait for the move!

"Too many layers" sounds like a phrase created by someone who want's to be paid for doing something that doesn't need to be done.

I was happy to see Celebration make it to my local store. Yes, it does seem different from year to year (or is that me and my changing taste buds). While IPAs have been a favorite style for me I don't seem to like the new citrus/tropical IPAs so an IPA with a better malt bill and some noticeable bitterness is just what I want. Also it seems to be getting hard to find SNPA fresh, at least in the places I shop so fresh Celebration is a welcome sight.

Nope, it is not you and your buds. Celebration does indeed have a differing flavor profile from year to year due to the varying fresh hop crops they use to produce this beer.
My local beer retailers also have lots of 'old' SN product on their shelves. Because of this (plus the 'extra' high prices for SN in Pennsylvania) I lately have only been purchasing seasonal release beers from SN (and buying them in neighboring states when I happen to be there).

    Cheers!

Picked up a case today, only $13. Hard pressed to think of a better beer purchase I've made this year.

A case or a 12 pack? If the former, that is the deal of the year. If the latter, it's still damn good.

Celebration ale finally showed up today near me. Already finished my first of many this year. Just as good as ever. Having a hard time tracking down the Northern Hemisphere Harvest though. My mission over the weekend.

As @SierraTerence mentioned, the rose character in this vintage really shines through - it's quite beautiful

Whoooops yeah meant a 12 pack, but I usually refer to 12 packs of bottles as cases.

Same about the Harvest, haven't seen it anywhere. Really was hoping to pick up a 6er.

Snagged some for $7.99/sixer. Like always, it 100% reminds me why it's my favorite IPA of all time. No questions asked.

Also, the Northern Hemisphere IPA is damn solid as well. And I saw the Winter Pack today but didn't grab it. I'll pick it up when I get back in town after this weekend. Keep it up Sierra Nevada. You'll always be my fav.

How far did you have to drive for the NH IPA? I'm in the Bay Area and according to SN's beer finder, the closest store that has it is 25 miles away.

Won't have my first Celebration Ale of the year until tonight, but I did get the rose flavor in Northern Hemisphere and it was quite good.

This has me worried...someone please tell me this is a spin on the cinnamon joke?

This is from many years ago when folks were saying celebration had more/less spice in it each year. Many thought it was a yearly changing recipe with a different slice added each year. There were threads about it.

It had become a yearly running joke.

    Enjoy

Not for Northern Hemisphere it isn't. And, it appears NH is the wet hop version of Celebration if you look at both beers on their site. I am not a fan of the smell or taste of anything rose, but NH was a great beer imo.

It isn't a joke. Centennial hops are often considered to give off a floral aspect. BUT, no need to worry though. I had a Celebration yesterday and as I had it, I wasn't thinking of flowers one bit. If you're not specifically looking for it, I doubt anything will jump out at you that you'll find objectionable. (I kinda hope the spice jokes will die eventually... seems to cause too much confusion.)
