Earlier a Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA with a half dozen crabs. Now it looks like I bathed in Old Bay. Now a Manor Hill Solace This Side of the Potomac NE IPA

I am getting old (Mike you have been old for a long time). The days of drinking a six pack and ready for more beer are over. After three or four brews I cannot handle more beer. Admittedly, most are high octane but it has more to do with volume than ABV. Thank goodness wine and bourbon were discovered. Anyway, now drinking really cheap wine. Sorry @scream

 

First I had some Interboro Full Time to wet my whistle.



Then, I wanted a shark with a fricking laser beam attached to its head. Instead, I got a f’ing cat with lasers for eyes.



I really don’t like cats. But, the Laser Cat was good.

 

So I guess Brouwerij West 8 1/2 beers are now single hop. The first was Simcoe, and this one is Citra. The beer is hyper fresh with a soft, creamy backbone. Raul likes:

 

Adroit Theory Dia Los Murtos Imperial Stout with Coffee, Hazelnuts and Honey. 13% avb. Bloody tasty!

 

This 8% abv NEIPA collaboration with Barrier features Citra and Mosaic lupulin powder, a 10/20 release... Surprisingly sweet - well, it's an NEIPA so I guess that's not true - very fruity and juicy, very little about this beer is bitter - just beer juice for sure - suggestions of candied fruits like pineapple, orange, lemon, maybe melon and sweet lime and a little light mango, too... Soft and smooth, light-bodied and easy to drink... I'm liking it, but it's still a little too sweet for me...
