I don't know if it would be as many people as you think. If you choice is 1 or 2 More Stouts or and entire BCS allocation I'm still going to LP.

Pretty much what he said. I'd rather have a case I can enjoy throughout the year for my time waiting in line.

Actually, the problem that's wrong with most people on here isn't that you want a case you can enjoy throughout the year, it's that you want as many cases as you can get to enjoy for as many future years as possible...Nobody's going to Binny's like it is some Old West county general store "Looks like I loaded the wagon full of stouts, this should see us through winter." Many of the people loading up at Binnys are also loading up at stout releases at Rev., HA, CBS etc.

And if each brewery released their BBA stouts on Black Friday wouldn't that reduce the amount of people buying for profit as they can't camp out every location?

Ideally it would make every interested beer-buyer go to a different place and only one place and then bring their haul to a mega-share with everybody they know and we all get back to building community and friendships over great beer through shared effort and responsibility.

But we all know the only actual effect will be to increase the GrandMule and Mule-in-law population.

And the problem with that is? As long as people don't loop back in line like they did at Rev's recent VSOJ release, I don't see a problem in people buying as much beer as they want.

Made it to Vosges for the Midnight Orange event this afternoon. I thought the beer was solid, but nothing too exciting. A bit hotter than I’d like, but I guess at 15.1%, it shouldn’t be surprising. I won’t be upset with just getting a bottle of it on Black Friday.

It was really strange that you couldn’t buy any of the chocolates to go. Maybe they couldn’t get enuogh Midnight Orange from GI to make more?

They have samples of the beer at these releases? Why did I think they didn't. I may have to go to some of these.

I’m not allowed to disclose that information. All I’ll say is that @Quilentro was there, so you know it was crazy.

I didn’t love the midnight orange. Or the chocolate. Or the fact you couldn’t buy the chocolate.

I appreciated that everything was free, but it was a weird event.

But maybe it was just because @croush was there.

I can’t recall how much it was last year. Was it that much? I know here’s more variants this year but damn.

Jeez, talk about milking the f out of this. For the price of two tickets I could buy each variant....

What variant did they give out last year in a bottle? Reserve or Prop?
