I enjoyed Bramble, definitely preferred it to Midnight Orange. But, I wasn’t blown away by it either. I thought it felt a bit thin to be honest.

I might rather drink that honestly, Northwoods was disgusting.

I dk, that barleywine was brutal. And while I didn't love Northwoods, I didn't mind it either.

This is really a serious debate? Can I throw some horse blanket in the mix? I'd take NW over Malort BA DL.

Northwoods was not bad at all.

Prop 16 was dog poop, though.

Heard the same thing from my local friendly Binnys employee on Friday.

Didn't think NW was that bad, either. Maybe it's just because the others were so good??

I actually enjoyed the almond in Northwoods tremendously. It was my second favorite release of last year behind Prop.

The nose on it alone made it very enjoyable to me. I love that almond pastry scent it had when fresh.

Northwoods tasted like blueberry corn syrup to me when fresh. I aged one a year hoping it would get better...nope, still had that high fructose bullshit all over it.

If I enjoy BA stouts that only have a slight amount of barrel character and don't really prefer beers that taste like they have a shot of bourbon mixed with them would I like BCBS?

Probably not. It’s extremely bourbon forward.

I’d still recommend giving it a try though, if you have an opportunity.

If you don't like barrel and bourbon do you really like BA stouts? Or BBA stouts for that matter? Might be better to stick with different barrels.

I do like like BBA stouts I just prefer them not to be super bourbon forward. I also like stouts with adjuncts like vanilla and spices but I want those flavors to complement the beer and not overwhelm it. I understand for some people the more barrel the better but that isn't my preference personally.

To me, Northwoods tasted exactly like Cherry Coke....

Pricing hasn't yet been posted for the Binny's locations has it?

Looking forward to trying these at prop day in 6 days.

Don't believe so. I'm assuming somewhere around $250 for the entire allotment.

All the years are blending together, but didn't think pricing was posted until the morning of release last year.
