1- I was surprised they still had all the Collective Tissue beers on at Balmoral tonight.
2- They said thanks to new laws they can buy other people's beers and will try to have guest taps like those on more often
3- Haunting Patterns is really good. I didn't have Magick is Purple back in the day, but everyone raved about it on the forums here. The HA staff said this was their attempt at blending stuff to taste like Magick is Purple.
    4-Carry on.

Vanilla was made specifically for Far & Away and will not be bottled. I won’t ruin any potential surprise/s for Benthic variants though. Surprises are what makes life worth living... for me at least.

Doing at Balmoral so more people can be there is great. And more cans is great. I’m not a Big Hugs guy, but I’m interested in checking it out.

I think fans of Beer Hates Austronauts will find Wand familiar and enjoyable (albeit with different hops). Sub $20 price point is nice.

Haunting Patterns is delightful. Mildy tart, with an essence of the balanced earthiness that I enjoy in quality American Wilds overlaid on a subtly sweet base. Oak is present but subdued.

    That is all.

Not a huge fan of the BA price point, but I'll definitely try to snag a 4 pack of regular, which I've always preferred to vanilla. Wacky theory, but I tend to think vanilla isn't such a great addition to coffee stouts. Much prefer it with other flavors.

I don't think that is such a wacky theory. It's why the mocha latte or caramel latte are everywhere, but the vanilla latte didn't gain traction.

Been a huge fan of HA sour beers so far but Paw Paw Loam was a miss. Absolutely no carb. Will report back when I open the Apricot. In other news FW Undercurrants is fire.

Went to Balmoral today...Paw Paw was sold out. :slight_frown:

Had Apricot instead, and it was fine - nothing special, but solid. Had Wand and Now & Then for the first time - thought those were good (also had the guest taps from Veil and Green Cheek, and didn’t really care for those two).

Just back from my roaming-like-a-locust visit. Had a great time at Half Acre (twice in 3 full days). Tried Haunting Pattern twice, and it was fantastic. About the only beer that I might lean to more was at Dovetail (try their botttled KRIEK, holy crap). Wasn't a fan of Wand, unusual for me, since I usually like all their IPA/DIPA efforts, but Far and Away was very solid.
Otherwise, here's my usual post-visit tribute! That is, of course, Space IPA. My alpha and omega for every visit.
    Cheers all...

How do they usually notify when the release time begins? Do they post on Facebook, brewery website, or other social media?
