that depends on your personal taste and whether or not you are interested in the beers inside the pack. The SA seasonal packs are a good value assuming you like the beers inside them.

I usually pick up one but this year it's a pass. I looked it over and just didn't think it worth having to drink nine to get the three I wanted.

I picked up the SA Winter Classics last night. Old Feziwig, Cream Stout, and Chocolate Bock put it over the edge and into my cart. The remaining beers are Noble Pils, Winter lager and Boston lager.

Having an Old Feziwig is a Christmas tradition and I always liked the Chocolate Bock.

For years it was a Thanksgiving and Xmas tradition for my family but they're going for Sierra Nevada's IPA sampler this year. I might still buy one just to get the Old Fezziwig.

Noble Pils and Cream Stout? I thought Sam '76 and Holiday Porter were in the pack.

I’ve tried several basic S/A beers. Liked them all. I’m thinking this will be in my cart next trip. Great way to try some different styles without the “6 pack regret”.
Thanks for the post and comments all.

They're usually pretty serviceable as some different variety to add to the season. I thought the fall mixed 12 pack was a decent mix.

A-ha! Got it. Yeah, the club store packs are often different. I love Noble Pils, but that is a lot of beers I’m not interested just for the (4?) Noble Pils.

For the three and that's my reasoning as well.

I was going to get this but have been underwhelmed by their packs. I got the fall pack and it was boring and lacking. Maybe I am ruined by strong beers but SA seems very mild/weak to me in the flavor department. I keep giving them a second shot and each time its the same lackluster feel least to me.

My Costco pack, in Chicago, had the Noble Pils and Cream Stout also. Last year's Costco pack was even worse. It had only 4 beers, Boston Lager, Winter Lager, Chocolate Bock, and White Christmas! When I saw that, my head just about exploded. What's the SA Winter Classics without Old Fezziwig?!? :rage: Later, I saw Winter Classics 12-paks at other stores that had the normal 6-different-varieties mix. However, if I remember right, even those didn't have the Holiday Porter.

The moral of the story...6-packs of Noble Pils, please!!

Purchasing the entire pack isn't worth it, but I did pick up two seasonal singles at Krogers for a mix-six pack: Old Fezziwig and Holiday Porter.

If they're not going to offer six packs or bombers of individual seasonals, at least they could pack their seasonal box with nothing but the seasonals instead of diluting it with beers available year round like Boston Lager and Sam '76.

I purchased one as I do every year for the Old Fezziwig and Holiday Porter. Mine had the Boston Lager and Sam 76 in it. I bought a 12-pack for Fezziwig and Porter... because I really enjoy those two beers. I'd bitch about it every year and complain but I still find myself buying it every single holiday season so I can enjoy those two beers. It's like a tradition. Now if I had the one from Costco with the Noble Pilsner and the Cream Stout I would be a little more pleased here.

The 24 pack sounds interesting and is that a Costco only thing? All that I ever see in my area are the standard seasonal 12 packs and the seasonal can packs (but I am sure our state laws don't help the situation).
