Hill Farmstead is far and away the best maker of the NEIPA...and it's not fucking close.

    See how that works?

Monkish is aight...I think Tree House is better.

    Opinions, man.

I know it’s kind of a little known bottle, but does anyone know what it would take to land a doublemex from brew gentlemen? Trying to get one for a share on Black Friday.

I’ll admit I was absolutely blown away by HFS difference and rep series. Just haven’t been able to consistently acquire them but good point. Just saying as an avid beer drinker monkish is at worst a top 5 brewer of the NEIPA and in my opinion the best and most consistent. HFS makes the most balanced ipa so I see what you’re saying. But best goes to Monk

You’d be looking at prior year vintages, as this year’s iteration is still up for debate. Understandably, this doesn’t answer the question, but without a new/2018 batch it might be tougher to pull

Ha obviously we have that, but more I was curious about trading hops for hops. Wasn't sure if TGs would necessarily be worth the trades. Guess it doesn't hurt to ask. Luckily I have some King that might be worth asking about trades. Thanks for the insight!

Well I would need it in a few weeks, so whatever older vintages there are, I guess that’s what I would need. Any guess on value? Maybe 1:1 Mornin delight? More, less? Just looking for a base line if you could help.

MD for Doublemex and a small plus, or go 1:1 for a shoo-in

Unless you’re trading for something ridiculously exotic like assasin or BA Abraxas I think a MD will get you just about anything at 1:1
Hell if I had what you were looking for I’d give it to you in exchange for a MD and I’d give you a tree house double shot

    Constructive criticism:

Everything you have posted so far has been your personal view rather than anything based in completed trades or other "evidence" that someone can point to as being legitimate. While we all appreciate that people value beers differently, personal views help little when someone is looking for the "going rate" to attain a beer. That is the point of this thread.

No hate intended. You are new, so just trying to help

Just to validate your point I posted 3 times in about 1.5 weeks with a series of good beers and I only got 1 hit for rare+rusty nail. MD is turning into one of those "right set of eyes trade beers" hopefully when kbbs gets released the market gets a little flood of more of it. I'm going to enjoy mine in the morning some time during the holidays with loved ones and start that day off right.

Sounds like a real good plan. Hope you enjoy it .

I feel like I take an awfully philosophical approach sometimes, but as @RyanMcFly1985 has said numerous times in numerous trade threads trade value does not equal secondary. It completely depends on the beer, and trading (and finding what to offer) can be a bit of a challenge. I think that a lot of the more common whalez (everything from Rare 15 and MD to Assassin, the perennial beers, and so on) all take the right offer a lot of times. People assume (or maybe it's all they have) that the best offer is the same beers that other people offer (e.g. ISO: BAA FT: Assassin + FO). But, there are lots of people that can make that offer, ergo there are a lot of supply of that offer, and there are a lot of ways to get those beers without giving up said bottle.

I'm rambling, but you get the picture.

Does Neapolitan Stout from Untitled Art/Bottle Logic have any trade value? Do you think some ratio may trade for a Fob4 or other similar valued stout? I am trying to get a good stout for a special occasion coming up but everything I have access would require trading up because I don't have access to many limited releases.

I'd go out on a limb and say no. There was a ton of that stuff and it sat around for quite some time. On the other hand the new UA/Angry Chair collab is blowing up here.

I will also add that Octopi (Untitled Art) sends kegs to the collab brewery so most likely anyone that has FO near Bottle Logic has tried it.
