Past attendees: is the bottle pickup cash only? I haven't seen any notice about it being so, but I'd like to make sure.

Cash or credit as stated on the Prop Day section of the Goose Island Beer Company website.

Good, between this and the last Prop Day Rare I purchased they should average out to $60 a bottle...

Interesting development with the mystery bottle thing.

In order to purchase the mystery bottle you must sign a waiver agreeing to consume the variant within 30 days and that GI is not liable for any "unintended flavors" after that time period.

Just to be clear. Kidding aside, $30 would be a hell of a deal for a bottle of Rare.

I assume I know the answer to this question, but I didn't see it asked in the 5 pages... I'm the +1 for the winner and I just heard from the winner that he's sick and won't be coming into town this weekend. I should still be able to go though, right? His ticket is wasted though, no way to transfer it or use it to get him his allotment, right?

Does anyone know if the “market” is accessible to non ticket holders? I wanted to get a bottle of the Coop sauce but it turns out I can’t make it to their event tonight.

    I don't think so, Tim.

As if I wasn't already excited enough about Prop Day Sunday. $30 retail bottle I would guess has to be a variant like Reserve, or another 18 variant, with some vintages thrown in for good measure.

My guess is it won't be anything new, but rather some variants from 2016/2017

I would be extremely unhappy spending $30 on anything from 16/17 unless it's '17 Reserve. I don't like coffee, barleywine, or northwoods enough for that.

Thank for the fix. I would not be unhappy then.

Agree, I don't feel any of those besides Reserve are worth $30.

I will say consuming a bottle's worth of Rare for $9 at the block party was enjoyable.

I would guess Vanilla Rye since it seems they have 15,000 metric shit tons of it still.
