I remember that bad batch of Suparillo that tasted like a D-list IPA. Put me off for good

Two beers that EQ/OH brewed a few weeks back will be released at EQ on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

I really liked Suparillo, maybe even more than DMD. The single hop beers with Conan yeast they've been doing have all been solid tho so hopefully we get Amarillo/Centennial/Azacca in cans some time.

i think OH might be changing their tasting glasses pretty soon. Definitely have their ear to the streets. Also, I think Thanksgiving and Black Friday week are going to be pretty crazy. Lots of hype collabs upcoming.

Dunno exact details but I think there are going to be a ton of releases over the next few weeks (not like there isn't already). Was chatting with Andrew I believe and he said they were going to change the tasting glasses to the 4oz. snifters which I think is pretty awesome.

obviously a response to the difference in short dark and handsome peanut butter experience based on serving size.

Lets be honest, the small bulb glasses makes the sting of paying $1+ per ounce than the current tasters.

Plus now they might actually be able to get some head on their pours.

Yeah great, snifters equal more head and less beer. OH once again showing customers love.

Anybody have Curley Fries lately? I only have one can that a buddy gave me and he said he thought it was a little green and could wait a week or two.

3 AZ wilderness on tap last night, 2 Saisons and a stout - can’t remember which. Mylar bags the winner of the night followed by triple cream!

What's the word on Galaxy + Vic Secret? Untappd ratings are lower than I would have expected from this hop combination.

I tired that one last night as well - very good! Galaxy comes out as the dominant hop for sure, with Vic coming in a bit more subtle.

The last dual hop I've been really impressed by was Citra +Galaxy, most of the others have been about the same level or about sub par for me. I do appreciate them being unadulterated tho..

This is obviously unrelated but you guys are chill and I don't know where else to ask this...

Which Trader Joe's has the best beer selection in the city?

Trader Joe's are hit or miss for beer. You are better off doing beer shopping at Whole Foods. Best sections seem to be:

    Tribeca
    Gowanus
    Bowery
