Jackie O's (2018)

Are you referring to the Untappd description? I don't think that's entirely accurate or official, and everything from Jackie O's has suggested to me it's blended post-barrel aging. For instance, the specification of the parts with the 101 Beer Kitchen barrel treatment for only Woodburner:

 

Off topic from the current discussion in the thread, but I wanted to give an endorsement for See Foam.

I've bought several 6pks and cannot get enough of it and I hope it remains a staple of the lineup. I received a promo glass from an event in Columbus and the glass has been a big reason why I tried the beer... please continue such promos; I cannot be the only one swayed by cheap glassware.

Hopefully there are a few more drops of this fabulous beer through the end of the year.

I think you misread what @neelonjm said. He said "Yet to be released." I.e., not yet released. I.e., the upcoming release, not the last release.

Part of me thought it was a joke, but I’m guessing Jackie O’s bottles and sits on them for a few weeks so I thought maybe he had heard something about them going sour before even being released to the public.

 

Luckily they bottle the same beer and just label it differently, if you want champion, just try coffee oil or coffee dark app.

 

I’d normally agree. Coffee oil is usually one of my favorites but this was a down year for me. Had several bad bourbon oils to boot, so not going to pick up more. VC Dark app was on the list...so I’d like to scratch my JO’s (pasteurized) coffee itch.

Wondering where Champion Ground is though. Maybe saving it for the Anny Party?

 

Has Mandala Simcoe hit statewide? I've had no luck finding it around Dayton. Plenty of Java though, which is tasting pretty good with the ramped up coffee this year.

 

Saw some yesterday at Krogers in Beavercreek.
