Trade Value Thread (TVT) Quarter 4 2018

The 375ml went for $16.99 lowest.. went pretty quick and that was towards the beginning of 2018 another run came in with both 375ml and 750ml. 750ml running $30 lowest. This is San Diego and more than one shop. From last I saw the classic and kriek 375ml were also available.

 

I will gladly pick those up towards a trade for hill farmstead or the right new jersey stuff... I dont know if A&G is hard to get other places. I almost traded for it 2 years ago, was hard to land, and then it just showed up and I nearly shat myself.

 

How does EOC (b1) line up with Jammy? I'm on the EOC side and looking to trade for one one my more sought out sours.

 

I've never seen it on a shelf around here. In fact, personally I've never seen anything from Cantillon or 3F on a shelf around here before (Southeast PA)

 

For as much as I try to trade for lambic you would think I'd be better about knowing values. Thoughts on this trade:

FT: Rare '15 + RBAVSS
ISO: 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek + Schaarbeekse Kriek 2018 (750ml)

 

Looking for just the regular Schaarbeekse kriek, not the schaarbeekse/raspberry framboise, right? (I might be wrong on the exact name, but I think you know the alternate that I am referring to.)

It was released during 3F's open beer days this year and only 880 bottles were released I believe.

 

Would Rye Whiskey BA Abyss be hard to acquire? Idk how much is left or the value. just wondering where you would guess it sits as of now. Thanks and cheers!

Well that sucks. Cantillion comes around randomly and shops get a case or less and it's gone in under a hour of putting it out there on instagram or whatever social media tool.

I'm thinking about offering a Forager Nook for some Kane bottles. I'm interested in their anniversary bottles (2555, 2557, 2192), as well as ANTEAD, BA Sunday Brunch, maybe others. Is it reasonable to ask for three bottles for Nook?

 

Idk about the release of Nook, but I don't feel like it could pull 3 barrel aged beers from Kane. They all seem to be wanted. Maybe non Ba beers you could get 3. But never hurts to try. This is just my opinion

 

I think it’s very tough to tell, especially since both are a ‘pre’ for ‘pre’ type of trade. If you want to ‘jump on it’ before relative trade value becomes easier to determine, go for it and see.

 

My thoughts would be that somebody would want a couple of huge different beers. Kinda like something you posted earlier. But I still think it would take the right eyes. But I could be wrong

 

I'm not familiar with Forager. What is it that would make this go 1 for 3
