MI overlooked anniversary/release parties

    What are some good release parties and anniversary events coming up in the next several months? I know about Founder Cellar Raid and Firkin Festival, Bells Eccentric Day, 4 Elf, Ascension Gorilla release, Witches Hat X Mas party... looking for a new experience to try!

    One Well anniversary party on black Friday, Odd Side and Pigeon Hill BA releases black Friday as well.

    Looks like Transient is doing a Black Friday release of Neckbeard Nectar and variants. I know Odd Side and Pigeon Hill are fairly popular. Time it right and do both!

    Seems like I’ve seen the details on Transient but now can’t find it. I know it’s Sunday after BF. Can you refresh my memory on what variants are being released?

    Took me a minute. I don't think Transient has released details. The black friday release is in Chicago at the Beer Cellar.

    -Neckbeard Nectar: Imperial Stout aged on Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Ancho & Guajillo Peppers

    -Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Neckbeard Nectar: Imperial Stout aged in Blis Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels w/ Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Cinnamon, and Ancho Chili Peppers

    -Gray Skies Barrel Aged Neckbeard Nectar: Imperial Stout aged in Gray Skies Bourbon Barrels for 12 months (no adjuncts)

    -Henry McKenna Barrel Aged Neckbeard Nectar: Imperial Stout aged in Henry McKenna Bourbon Barrels for 12 months (no adjuncts)

    Correct that the Black Friday release is in Chicago not at Transient.
    Transient release info is:
    When: Release is at Noon, SUNDAY, November 25th till 6pm
    Where: Transient Artisan Ales in Bridgman, Michigan

    Expected limits on release day: We ended up with only 25-30 cases of each barrel aged variant for our release, as well as 60 cases of regular, and thus will not have very much, so limits will be fairly tight. Depending on turn out we may allow one each of the barrel aged and 2-3 of the regular, but depending if we have a larger or smaller turnout than expected that might change. As always, final limits decided at open.
