Man, F that noise, abinbev. Five years ago, a four pack of regular barleywine was the same price that you now pay for a single bottle of wheatwine or coffee barleywine.

 

Anyone know if the Fulton taproom opens at normal time on BF or special hours? It was the last place we hit for the night last year and, admittedly, I didn't remember a whole lot about what was going on there that day. I just know we drank a lot of '17 variants and vintage bottles between then and Saturday, so I'm planning on hitting there earlier this year.

Honestly, I'm just out on the barleywine since they neutered it a few years ago, it's not even close to what it used to be. You're right though, the price is definitely making me not even bother buying a bottle if I see it on the shelf somewhere.

 

Fulton is going bonkers today. That is all.

 

I just looked at the taplist online and cried actual tears that I won't be there for another week.

just want to clarify 2 questions.

1) the full allotment is required at LP, but not at the other binny's locations?

2) they clearly state in the comments that only 6 bottles of reserve are available at EVERY location. Ergo, only 6 people are guaranteed a full allotment. at the LP, they are handing out 1000 wristbands, so the rest of the 994 people will be forced to purchase the "full" allotment but won't actually get Reserve?

You are. LP has 1000 Reserve bottles, one for every full allotment. Every OTHER location has 6 Reserve.

 

And a load of bottles for onsite consumption.
