Trade Value Thread (TVT) Quarter 4 2018

With all personal feelings of TG aside, I'd rather have 1.5 ltr's of something I'd probably love more then 12 oz's of something I may not love. I haven't had KBBS or BBT batch 2. I don't love Morning Delight either. It's a fine beer but after going to the release this year I doubt I'll try for it again. I'm also over sweet stouts in general. BBT and additive free stouts (coffee exception) is just more my jam at the end of the day.

 

Yeah I'm just fortunate enough to be able to get some monk so I'm going to ride that train until it comes to a stop!

 

I have a 99 3F kriek from a good provenance. I was offering it + zenne b2 +ogv14+seasonal for a SR71b1+Assassin 14+ and not a single bite.

Am I so off here? Should I split the trade?

I'm not sure about whether or not you're off, but finding someone that both possess SR-71 b1 and Assassin '14 AND is willing to trade them for lambics is a pretty tall order in my opinion.

Edit: And it appears you'd also be doing an international trade.

 

Hi everyone. I would like to trade my MD b5 for an Assassin 18. How far off am I on my end?

 

Doesn't appear to be very far off based on some of the trades I've seen completed. I think MD b5 has been trading higher than people anticipated and Assassin '18 appears to be trading a bit lower. A 'mid-tier' plus on your end would likely get it done... maybe even smaller plus.

 

What qualifies as a mid-tier plus? Thanks for the help!

 

For me something like Abraxas, Huna and the such are the small-to-mid tier. Smaller tier would be BA Expedition, or Black Note, and the like. But this is just my interpretation. I don't follow secondary and I'm not on Facebook so others might have a different opinion.

I agree with this. I just don't know how DEC. 15th and the KBBS release is going to change it. With potentially 800-1000 more Morning delights out there.

I think this is a right set of eyes thing. The value is there for maybe the Maman. And based on all crazy posts I’ve seen ISO BBT b2 your about half way there. And I haven't seen most of the crazy posts close either. And tbh as someone that has both bottles, I think you need a larger anchor for both or offer up something that trades 1:1. Hope this helps.

What are you looking for in return? Knowing that would help in determining whether or not you were wasting your time throwing up an ISO:FT.
If it's other hops (cans), you could potentially find someone looking to go can for can with something on their end. At the bare minimum it's worth a shot in the Trading Locals forum, if you're just looking to try different stuff that is.
