Appears to be a barley wine coming off the bottle line

Man I hope it's a barleywine, bit of a drive for me but that would be enough for me to pull the trigger.

Finally took my first trip a few weeks ago and can I just say what a damn good pilsner Gather is, I'd put it right up there close to Mary and their respective scores on BA would seem to corroborate that.

How long would the wait be on Saturday? Looking for a few beers and cans to go. I'm heading to Foxwoods and want to plan a brewery visit. Also looking at Tilted Barn and Proclamation, but these guys would be my priority.

hardly a wait at all (maybe 5 minutes). should literally be in and out and more than enough time to enjoy a pour or 2.

Beer'd is also an easy diversion in or out of Foxwoods. Beers are good and closer to being "on the way" from MA (trusting that's where you are coming from) than Fox Farm. If you aren't down that way often, try to hit them both. That said, if you are heading down 395 then Fox Farm is actually easier. I was just assuming coming along 95 since you mentioned the RI breweries.

I almost forgot about Beer'd. I tried to go there a year or two ago and it was closed. Weird building to if I remember correctly. This one might be easier from 95.

Very cool building. Old velvet mill with a bunch of business in there now. Pretty sure Beer’d is 11-7 now on Saturdays and with Fox Farm also open at 11 ... probably have time to pull off both.

That wins the award for the most ridiculous and extreme pricing. I hope someone from Fox Farm sees that, totally unwarranted.

Believe it or not, there is some budget beer to be had in Newport but the Mooring is not that place. They put some serious markup on anything perceived to be limited, there actually are $5-6 pints available (including Black Hog Granola Brown as an example of another CT brewery), but slap a Deciduous, Singlecut or Fox Farm label on the keg and yowsa.

Oh and now that I look, I see Pour Judgement a mile away had on Dark Hills for $7 / 12 oz.

Oh, definitely. Opted for can of Whalers Rise at $6.50. Was just shocked to see a pour greater than $10. All my years visiting and $9 seemed to be the max (Oxbow, Proclamation).

When did FF start with kegs in RI?

Probably around a year ago, they were at Beervana Fest October last year for the first time and kegs started hitting then. I thought it was a one-time drop but they've been available quite a lot, similar to Beer'd starting keg distro to RI the year before that.
