Unbelieveably awesome BA: crushedvol

    Okay, I can't post this quick enough. Yesterday I posted an ISO looking for a single bottle of BCBS 2010 for a tasting a few of us are having tonight. Crushedvol BM'd me within minutes and said he had a bottle for me, and his office is conveniently located two blocks from mine.

    He asked what we were planning to open in our tasting and how far back the vertical is going to be. I told him we have a 2009, 2011, and 2012 and need a 2010 to fill in the gap. I told him the "meat" of the tasting is going to be a Rare, Vanilla, Coffee, Bramble, and 2009 bomber. Since we have lots of 2011 and 2012 BCBS, we figured why not try to get a 2010?

    I asked him what he would like in exchange for the trade, and he said that nothing really came to mind and that we can chalk it up to "beer karma" and he'd give it to me for nothing! Awesome guy right?!

    So I just got back from meeting him at his office and get this...

    Not only did he have the 2010 for me, he also brought a 2008 and 2007!!! For nothing!!

    Kevin, I can't thank you enough. This is the most extreme example of advocacy I've ever experienced in this community!

    I have traded with him multiple times and he is always over the top generous. A1 guy in my book!

    To be quite honest, I was in shock after he handed those over to me and was at a loss for words. I did invite him, and although he can't make it this time, he'll be invited to the next tasting for sure!

    Thanks for the kind words, I was invited to the tasting, but i'm on about 2 hours of sleep, so i need a fap and nap much more than beer.

    Real Talk: Crushedvol saw my ISO King Henry post and made a more than reasonable request of beers for me to send in exchange for his royalty. I sent him good beer, he sent me good beer, we are both happy.
