Toppling Goliath Releases and Updates

I don't know when anyone would have time for a bottle share? No one will be hanging around outside very long unless there is a cellar sale. I've seen Clark giving out pours before but that was when there was an overnight line or when wandering around the taproom during the sessions.

 

...or when people without ticket line up thinking they'll sell off the unclaimed tickets after all the sessions are through.

 

Weren’t there only 30 or 40 spare Mornin’ Delight after that release? It seems strange that everyone gets one with KBBS now. I doubt if the leftover KBBS bottles get sold to people camping out.

 

They already said leftover KBBS will 100% NOT be sold after and be put in the cellar for future releases/on site stuff. Also there is NO cellar sale if people haven’t heard. Don’t waste your time waiting in line for leftovers. Trust me I did this at MDb5 and was well within their supposed “leftover limit” and got screwed still somehow and was super disappointed I had sat there and not enjoyed everything else going on. Just enjoy the release and drafts (hopefully they have some decent ones on), and don’t buy into it even if you see a line forming. Unless of course they announce some sort of change, but I doubt that.

 

Seems like a damn shame. There has to be a smaller amount of people coming, thus a luckier crowd than the past 2 MD releases. Plus they're willing to drive to Decorah and pay $100 for 12oz of beer. If ever there was an opportunity to go all out, this would be it. And they have in the past. Real missed opportunity if they don't pull out all the stops for these people.

 

Yeah, agreed. Would not surprise me if they didn’t throw on many special taps though. My guess is they will have some Term Oil and MD, but I wouldn’t expect any more than that. Maybe the variant assassin kegs that were supposed to happen, but who knows if those ever came to fruition and if they’d be cool enough to go all out for the release. My guess is they’ll say thanks for the 100K, here’s the non-BA version of this beer (MD) and some Term Oil variants. Which don’t get me wrong is still a good taplist, but feel like they could totally blow the event out of the water, especially with all the shit Pulpit is putting out that weekend. I think if they don’t pull out the stops on taps they’re gonna lose a lot of ppl to pulpits release.

Anyone know if Rubiayat or any restaurants/bars are doing any special tappings on Friday before KBBS? Know they have done some different things in the last.
